The campsite is well organised, with plenty of the toilet/shower facilities.
The camp shop had a good variety of items from food to camping extras. The plots are lined with hedges which provided some wind shelter.

We were given a pitch right next to a stream. The sound of the water was lovely but the mosquitoes were not. We felt like we were being attacked constantly. I would suggest requesting to not be pitched there.

Also they have a plan for how you need to pitch the tent in your assigned plot. This isn't so much a problem unless you have an electric cable that is on the shorter side like mine. I was offered the option of renting one at £5 a day but thankfully the tent next to me offered to swap cables, as their's was longer.

What is the point of asking for special requests if they are ignored. We asked to be next to our daughter and not next to the river as we have a 2 year old grandson. Both requests were ignored making catering as a family very difficult and we spent a week trying to keep our grandson away from the river

I recently had an unforgettable camping experience at Bryn Gloch, located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. This campsite offers easy access to the Snowdon Ranger Path, which we hiked with our 3 and 5-year-old children. The trail was manageable for our little ones, and the stunning views were well worth the effort.

Bryn Gloch is surrounded by beautiful lakes, providing excellent opportunities for kayaking. Additionally, the campsite features a lovely mountain river, perfect for children's swimming as it is not deep, or for invigorating cold-water plunges. The serene environment and picturesque scenery made our stay truly special. The campsite itself was well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Bryn Gloch for anyone looking to enjoy nature and adventure with their family.

Staff were super friendly, toilets were kept very clean and showers in the shepherd like it’s were really hot. Loved the wet room style. Views were amazing. We loved the little dog walk on site that follows the river, very peaceful. Great to have fire pits on a site like this and rental charges and wood were very reasonable.

Would be even better if we could select the pitch on arrival as we were near the park which was very noisy and as we didn’t have young children it wasn’t the best location for us. This is a small dislike as site was fantastic.

Really nice place , with lovely views, close to small river , play area for children , there is everything you need for family camp.

Location was great, peaceful and scenic. The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly.
Facilities were clean and enough to not need to que too long.
The pitch itself was lovely and flat/level with gard enough ground to hold a peg well (hammer/ mallet recommend)
We would absolutely stay here again.

Lots of migies at night being close to a beautiful river (good and bad) .
Nothing else to complain about.
