Great site and handy for day visits to different places. The site is very clean and showers are excellent. The two restaurants within a 2minute walk are spot on, also free WiFi

Made to feel like you were at a kids summer camp, put to bed at 10pm by the management!
Different rules for different guests. Banned from bbqing or having fire pits after the 1st night supposedly due to dry weather while others carried on night after night. Had to turn stereo off at 10pm even though half the campsite were all sat together enjoying their holiday, yet night before a group of hippies draped in fairy lights that made them look like birds danced around the fire listening to music until 3am but nothing said by the management!!
The cleaners caravan is positioned right in the middle of the guests and she spends her time when you 1st arrive pallying up to you like shes your best friend snooping through everything you've got and questioning what your plans are then runs off telling tales to the management, informing on certain groups when the 10pm rule is broken... funny thing is meant to be quite after 10pm but you get woken up by her at 4/5am every night when she slamming doors and banging around the shower blocks while she doing her cleaning

Lovely greeting on arrival / with all the help I needed. So close to the swcp and the beach. Clean. Quiet. A perfect place to camp with my camper van.

Nice campsite, easy to find. Good transport links, the bus stopped just outside the site and we took the bus into Bude and Tintagel. The Bathrooms were great and kept very clean by a very nice lady who was working very hard while we were there. The beach is just across the road and easy to get to. We also walked into Bude along the coastal path a couple of times and found a route out the back of the site to the canal and walked into Bude that way. Met a lovely local man walking his dog who showed us some good paths.
The funny little farm shop had great pasties, seafood and crabs. Nice ice cream shack on the beach and a good cafe further up the beach.

My only comment on this section was the electric pitch orientation, you were on either side of the road on a slight hill going front to back of the site and what should have been a great view of the sea was spoilt by the van parked next to you. We were there for a week and moved a couple of times because we couldn't see anything but the backside of a van.

Across the road from the beach. Friendly wardens, relaxed atmosphere, lovely sea views, new showers and toilet facilities. Bus stop outside entrance (Bude one way and Wadebridge the other). Food van on site morning and evening. Shop across the road for fish, meat, and daily basics. We walked into Bude along the Bude Canal path and walked back along the South West Coast path. (Approx. 90 minutes each way. It’s a flatter walk along the canal path but both ways pleasant scenery. Bude is a nice seaside town with good range of shops not changed much in last 40 years. Summerleaze Beach is a lovely sandy beach with a large natural sea water pool. All usual beachside facilities available.

The view was lovely and the staff so friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless and plenty of them.

As an single adult with a dog I was foxed by not being able to take the dog into the toilets with me, as he's an anxious barker when left, though I completely understand the logic! Finding a flat enough place to pitch was also a bit of a challenge as most of the site is a slope, but there was lots of space to choose from.
