I like the quiet hours rules because no one wants to be camping near loud rowdy groups and these are reinforced by the owners if need be. Basic portaloos and cold showers, also drinking water near by and a tap and sink for washing up. Great walks nearby and perfect for stargazing at night. Perfect if you're looking for a basic no frills camping to enjoy time with family and friends.

You visited during the bank holiday weekend, it is a more expensive rate for bank holidays as it is one of the busiest weekends of the year.
The facilities we offer are exactly as advertised, we're sorry to hear you expected hot showers, as it is very clear online when booking in advance on pitch-up that we are a back to basics site with portaloo toilets and cold water showers. All customers should very much make sure to check what they have booked as we are very up front and transparent about the nature of the facilities on offer.
