This site is a absolute gem 💎 very peaceful and quiet well maintain pitches and everything on pitch I.e water, electric,waste
The shower rooms are very modern with all facilities needed laundry room too if needed
Games and book cupboard too

Absolutely loved the horse and Lammas as neighbours also in a flight path for east Midlands airport so u can watch the planes land and take off which was perfect for me and hubby as we love that sort of thing
This site is a short walk to east Leake shops and bus routes to Nottingham and Loughborough
Also has a bus on demand service which can pick you up from the bottom of the driveway if needed
Site is surrounded by beautiful fields and plenty of space for furry friends with a dog walk too
Absolutely loved the site as a little getaway for us could have stayed longer and will definitely come back to visit soon

Location of site is perfect, within walking distance of East Leake village. Highly recommend using On Demand bus service ~ leave the car behind! Loved meeting the alpacas ~ the main reason for our stay! Facilities are immaculate and pitches are large with plenty of room between neighbours. Very friendly welcome on arrival with great information provided.

Locality of nearby dog kennels, very noisy at times. Also, on the EMA flight path so be prepared to see lots of low flying courier and holiday jets as they take off and land!

Noise from planes going to East Midlands airport - not a lot the owners could do about this but campers beware flights are 24 hours.
Nearby kennels dog woofing on and off 24 hours a day.
The roadway onto the site is full of potholes - go really slowly.
The elsan point is badly located near the entrance at some distance and pulling the waste along the potholed track is a challenge.
The toilet seat in the first cubicle was broken off the toilet throughout the visit.
The bins in the shower / toilet block always full - never seen emptied.
The washing machine facility was unusable due to the door missing throughout the visit - yes the door was missing.
The rough slate pathway up to the toilet block is dodgy and sore on the feet.
Site is nothing like as smart as the pictures would have you believe - it needs a good tidy up and weeds cleared. No maintenance seen throught the visit.
The signage at the site entrance is tiny and easily missed.
Really sorry to give so many negative comments but the owners need to get their act together.

Very clean and tidy pitches. Quite roamy for caravans and cars plus awning. Shower blocked x 2 were excellent. Clean new and very tidy.

Just noise from the airport and planes. We did got use to it.

The site was good, convenient to the shower and toilet block, had a nice outlook and we could see the Alpacas. The shower block, which also contained the laundry area was very good, clean and spacious.

On arrival we didn't receive a very warm welcome, in fact we were greeted with "you are not in our system" which was a bit of a shock as we knew we had a booking and were tired from travelling, having been driving a good few hours. The lady, who did not introduce herself, did not seem to want to look at the copy of my confirmation email, eventually said to wait outside the office and she would go speak to someone else, she went off and came back with a man, who went into the office, came out and said that's sorted - told us the pitch number and where it was, and apologised for the mix up. Not a good start.

Great clean facilities, beautiful views, friendly staff, great value, level gravel pitches for motorhome. Good WiFi too!

Great strong and stable WiFi connection. Electric hook up and running drinking water tap superb. Very well maintained with a high quality shower and toilet block. Literally couldn't fault it

What a gem of a campsite.
Immaculately clean and well kept site.
On flight path to East Midlands Airport but flights going over were more fascinating than annoying.
Plenty of wildlife around,alpacas and horses also in fields nearby to watch and be entertained by
Lovely leaded walk for your dogs off the site and wonderful dog exercise field, which our two dogs loved, being able to run off lead round the field and passed the alpacas in the next field.
We were on a grass service touring pitch for two weeks,but there were hardstanding service pitches if you preffered .
There are chalets also on site.
Two toilets and showers,very large,plenty of room..are unisex but no issue...spotless..Washing machine and tumble dryer available if needed.
Elson point and rubbish point near reception as you enter..not far to walk,no issue...have walked further on other sites
Shops etc within walking distance about 15mts away, or you can choose to go by car.
Plenty of beautiful places to visit nearby or just sit and relax in or out of your caravan etc and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Owners are lovely,there if you need them.
We will definitely be returning...we had a wonderful relaxing holiday.
