Location in the Brecon Beacons.

Too many tents for size of pitch area. Noisy drunk campers. No real reception or customer service, they didn't even check our paperwork! Busy road which was OK. Would stay again if it was cheaper as £30 per night for 2 people is a lot considering what is on offer. Realistically stayed at better er campsites that charge £11 per night!!!

Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming at the pub. Laid back. Pitched where we wanted, lovely views.

Couldn't get food when we arrived about 7:30.
Portaloo not open but could use the toilet at the pub.

Stunning location, small quiet and basic camp ground next to a shallow rocky stream.
Owners friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the local area.
On my visit all campers were respectful and courteous.
One night I ate in the pub typical good pub grub.
Alot of walkers about during the day, the escarpment walk behind the campsite is not for the fient hearted but the lakes and views are stunning.
One added bonus is the owners lock the car/bike park during hours of dark

This was my first time ever solo camping with my dog. As a female camper I was a little anxious, I couldn’t have picked a better camp site for my first camping experience. I arrived earlier than I originally said and there was no problem, the lovely lady at the pub told me where to park and said I could pitch anywhere. I was lucky enough to get a spot right next to the river, there was no noise after curfew and I felt very safe! The toliets were across the road in the pub, I actually preferred this to having to use a portaloo! I only stayed one night due to not knowing if I would enjoy it but I’ll definitely be back again to stay longer!
