Lovely location, small number of really well spaced pitches, a shower/loos, a store with home baked or home gathered produce, a thoughtful host. The whole place was just really well done.

Lovely homemade cake and wonderful pub within a few minutes walk from the campsite serving good food. Good variety of walks from the campsite. A good selection in their shop in case you forgot some food items, though a little expensive. Within the shop there was lots of ideas for walks and a variety of books. Lovely owners. We would visit again.
Ik was niet zo blij met: Showers, £1 to use and a trickle of water that went from hot to cold on and off. Only one washing up basin, so had to queue most mornings and evenings to wash up.

Vertaal (Mogelijk gemaakt door Google Translate )Ik was blij met: We had five nights at Sunnyside with our 6 and 7 year old granddaughters. They loved the freedom to roam with new friends, to play on the trampolines and pick blackberries.
Handy “store” which sells basics with a fridge for general use.
The small number of pitches meant that we easily chatted with other families and enjoyed time around each other’s camp fires, toasting marshmallows. We were lucky with the weather. Great days out to Southwold, Dunwich, Sutton Hoo, the outdoor theatre at Thorington.Ik was niet zo blij met: The shower wasn’t great….low water pressure and only two loos.
But these are minor concerns and overall we loved the stay, not least because our fellow campers were such lovely people.

Most guests are very lovely and considerate but we do find that children sometimes leave the lights on and doors swinging open! This doesn’t occur so much outside of the school holidays/peak season.
