Facilities are very clean and the hosts helpful and friendly. Peaceful location and the host encourage this by not allowing large groups as this is not a party site for late night drinking, loud music or noise. It suits couples, singles or famlies who want enjoy a peaceful relaxing time after a day exploring. Pitches are located around the perimeter of the field, with lots of space between them. Fire pits are placed on each site, and wood is available from hosts. A selection of cast iron pans are available to borrow, with grids for fire pits if you want a real open fire cook out. Its as near as wild camping as you can get but with the luxury of running tap water, flushable toilets and solar showers. We had a great time.
