The pitches are extremely spacious and the site, even when fully booked, doesn't feel crowded at all. Loved the "no frills" and eco approach to every aspect of camping. We had a fire every night, as they have fire pits on every pitch and they sell everything else you need, including marshmallows, on site. We were lucky to catch a clear night and stare at the stars, as there is no light pollution. Kids can run free, easily seen/supervised on the meadow in the middle of the campsite, and there are loads of games for them to engage with, including an awesome chess set near reception. Can I also say that this was the easiest soil to put the pegs in? No rocks:)

The gorgeous meadow, 'back to nature' feel, welcoming owners who accommodated our need for a pitch away from the toilets, cleanliness of the facilities. Would recommend!!

A very nice campsite with Plenty of space in our pitch and a nice woodland area which was perfect for evening S'mores.

Wow I honestly don’t know where to start. When I say everything,I truly mean it. Our pitch was so spacious and magical. To have a grass pitch connected to this beautiful “fairy” woodland was everything we could want. There was a picnic table and fire pit which was so useful. The facilities were stunning to look at, with an eco friendly vibe and I truly appreciated the time that goes into making sure recycling was paramount and that nature was being respected. The field itself was stunning especially in the evening with the beautiful summer sunset. There was games in the middle that kept our young boy entertained. One of the biggest likes (loved) was the sense of community and safety, there were multiple families and just being able to sit back and allow your child to play and make friends securely is the key to great holiday and that certainly happened here. Tina was the most amazing host so friendly, present and nothing was ever a bother. I truly didn’t want to leave this really was and is the best campsite we have experienced in Norfolk. Looking forwards to next season for a much prolonged stay. I also need to add the value for money, what you get for the charge is out of this world.

The back to basics approach, eco-friendliness, outstanding cleanliness of the facilities and serenity of the site. A really lovely vibe!

Was a lovely stay , absolutely loved the orchard with a table and shade, host's were low key but there if you needed anything. Flashing toilet's and basic showers perfect for a near wild experience. We would highly recommend

It's not wild camping other campers are closer than I would have liked but there was no issue with that.

Really quiet location. Lovely woodland.
Lovely host and very helpful. Explained everything to us when we arrived and available for questions when needed.

Welcoming owners who kindly kept our freezer packs frozen daily for us. Spacious pitch with longer grass between to give a little bit of privacy. Clean toilets very close by. My son enjoyed the pump showers finding them refreshing especially after a hot day on the beach! Recycling facilities. We had a really enjoyable holiday and would definitely return in future.

Noise of working vehicles a bit of a distance away but this was only for short periods so not really too much of an issue. Other than that there was nothing to dislike.

Magpie meadow is a beautiful site, well kept and well organised. Toilets very clean and lots of loo roll. Our pitch was big, with a mix of grass and woodland, making it feel very private. A lovely welcome on arrival and lots of good information given. Lovely touches such as a games left out for children and a little hut where you can borrow things like cast iron pans. They seem to have thought of everything.

The only thing that would have made this place better is if there had been a pub nearby or a place of interest/ river to walk to/ around. There is a Waitrose nearby though.
