We stayed in the Orchard camping field in a caravan, with family in tents on the two pitches next to us. The pitches were huge and there was loads of space for the kids to run around and play in front of the pitches. In total there were 6 adults, 7 children and a dog. The dog loved the off lead field behind Orchard, and the kids loved the play area too. The toilet & shower blocks were clean and the showers very spacious. The onsite shop came in very handy for ice creams and sun cream, they also had all the other essentials you might need. It was raining when we arrived and the field was very wet and muddy, but that’s to be expected… the owners were on hand with a pickup to help tow people on and off where needed. There’s a co-op just up the road, and a Sainsbury’s about 15 mins drive away. All in all we had a lovely stay.

Immaculate toilet block, lovely level pitches and pleasant vibe to the pitches, all separated by trees in the Woodside area. The site has a nice loop you can walk which would be perfect for dogs or restless children. Check in was smooth, I arrived quite late on but clear instructions were left for me. The site has a barrier that recognises your number plate which made access very easy and made the site feel secure. I chose to stay here because I was working in Oxford the next day, the site is a convenient 15 minute drive from Oxford Peartree Park and Ride.

It was perfect for us as we brought our two children and our dog so it was nice for our dog to be able to run round off lead in the secure field and our kids to play in the children's play area. The receptionist was so helpful and the cafe on site was lovely too. The shower and toilet facilities were clean. The additional laundry room and fridge freezer was amazing aswell.

The only thing we disliked was that another tent pitch, who was two down from us, let their dog off the lead and could not recall it. This made our dog very nervous and we felt like we could not let our dog out of the tent as she would bark if she saw it run near her. We followed the dog must be on a lead rule but others didn't unfortunately which was a shame.

Nice quiet site. Cafe ,bar and shop. Excellent toilet facilities. Good size pitch. Fenced dog walking field and dog walk around site. Went to visit friends in nearby village. And will definitely return. Very helpful site managers we had an issue when we stayed and they were extremely helpful. Can’t thank them enough.
