Friendly,clean well kept site

Great for walking,relaxing & fishing.
Very Dog friendly & large dog park.

Cafe prices a little high & I think would be used more if offered a cheaper range or provide a BBQ night.

Good reception and easy to find touring pitches.
Well marked out pitch, with plenty of room and reasonably flat.
Toilets and showers clean and working well. Plenty of walking areas (very extensive) for dogs or general walking.

Quantity of toilets and showers. There were only 3 in each for all the touring pitches. (Just had to choose the right time to visit)

It was a lovely site. It was a shame they had to shut the fishing down due to drought but still nice. Great facilities nice and clean.

Very enjoyable stay,, my son and I had a fantastic time at Greenhill and we would most certainly return, from the moment we were made very welcome, staff were great, huge pitch ,everywhere was clean and tidy 5*****.thanks to all at Greenhill Leisure park.

Nothing to dislike

Spacious site, friendly staff, great on site cafe, clean shower block, clear instructions for late check-in.

We arrived on site, warm welcome but soon realised that they may have a problem.. first red flag that no fishing during our stay, all lakes closed. ( but no email before we arrived to give an option to maybe re book as main reason for our visit)
Drove to our pitch and a bottle full of dead wasps was left by the last occupants.. we continued to set up feeling very disappointed only to be told by the couple next door that they had a major wasp problem
That was an understatement, went to reception to voice our concerns but was told that it was out of their control , we suggested maybe getting pest control in but a negative response.
We bailed out in the end we were just swarmed by wasps in great numbers.. you just couldn’t be outside especially if you were eating.
My main concern is that we were a couple.. many family’s were turning up as we left with their children for the summer holidays in there tents.. surly the site has a responsibility towards there holiday makers to warn of any adverse events they may impact there holiday.
This is a site we have visited many times and it’s brilliant.. but come on guys you really need to step up and tackle the problem to make it safe for everyone visiting.. and for those who are planning to spend quality time fishing with there family’s .. it’s out of your control but at least give the heads up .. disappointed that we had to leave early because of the conditions and spoke to you.. and your response was thanks for understanding.. a good will gesture would have been appreciated.

I put my comments into the likes although our break away was a complete nightmare.
The drought imposed on the fishing lakes is out of their control, the swarming wasps thought they could get professional help.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The shop items are very reasonably priced as was the cafe. Everything was perfect, we will be booking again

How spacious the pitch was, very welcoming, amenities were always cleaned regularly. Great for plane spotting! Also great for visiting Clarkson’s enterprises! Would visit Greenhill again in the future! Deffo a perfect place for bringing the dogs due to having an enclosed dog field to let them run without the worry of escaping!

Nothing to dislike at all! Great place! Maybe considerations for an outside pool or something to cool off for the really hot months lol.
