Amazing views, lovely locations, clean facilities, loved the goats and llamas

It doesn't show up on Google maps as Five Acre Farm so was confusing, but we found it with the location pin via the website.

Me and my partner had a lovely 3 nights here and we loved it. Perfect for exploring and hiking the surrounding areas. Facilities were great and had everything we needed; showers, toilets, pot washing area. We like that we could hire a fire pit and wood from the campsite for £17 a night. Best part was the views and fields on animals around including highland cows, goats and sheep. We would love to come back and explore the peaks more.

The location and the cleanliness of the site. All of the animals nearby 😍 The added option of the campfire was nice. We loved our weekend at Five Acres, we’re already looking forward to visiting again!

The only thing I’d say was a downside (and not the campsites fault!) is the main road is a little noisy - far enough away to not keep you awake though. Maybe earplugs for light sleepers.

Very nice field, planty of space, good showers and planty of toilets.

From 22 o'clock need to be very quiet, we even was told to not talk so loudly.

Beautiful campsite with well equipped facilities ; toilets, showers, pot wash station. Great idea for renting a fire pit for the night with logs/kindling and starters for £17.50.

One of the showers in the females wasn’t working so had to switch… maybe add a grass/hair catcher in them too to stop them from blocking. Single toilet locks weren’t working too well but nothing major

Great location with beautiful surroundings. Liked that we didn't feel too closed in with other campers as there was lots of space! Even though we travelled at a weekend in summer, I still felt like there were enough facilities that were kept clean throughout the stay. Would love to return to this campsite!

Did feel like the price of renting out a fire pit for an evening was quite costly as nearly cost a night stay, however liked that there was that as an option if people wanted it.

Lovely position! Close to Bakewell but not too close.
We enjoyed watching a fantastic sunset from our pitch whilst roasting marshmallows on the fire.
Also liked the smaller size of the site, making it quiet and no real queues for the facilities.
Only real reason we haven’t given it five stars is that we don’t camp enough to rate it against other sites.

Really great facilities. Plenty of toilets and showers all clean with loo roll and soap etc. Dish wash station was really good with washing up bowls and washing liquid provided. There is a freezer on site for ice packs which was great. The pitch was lovely, great views and plenty of space for each tent. Stunning walks in the area. Lovely addition of the availability to rent a fire pit and wood for the night as well. Would highly recommend.
