Ablsoutly a stunning place to stay with the family well worth the stay

Great welcome .. suggested area and we had pick of where we parked up. Great atmosphere and felt like freedom camping. Lovely setting with lakes, great bar and friendly staff

This was our 2nd stay at fendicks, even tho if we are in the area we call for coffee/breakfast in hubbles restaurant which is amazing. After being shown our pitch we was not bothered all the time we was their but staff always around for help and questions. The fishing was great as per. I'd like to also say that the new shower block is a very good addition between lake 4 and 5. The music from the rallee Friday pm was great entertainment from our tent and stopped at a reasonable time.

The dam eel I caught in lake 5 grrr. But still nothing to dislike.

Beautiful place great fishing the people are very friendly the Cafe is very good all the girls and staff are so busy and they do everything with a smile. It is a family and pet friendly place the scenery is gorgeous this was our fourth visit and will be going again. Lisa and then have done themselves proud

This is a lovely site. The facilities are perfectly clean and modern. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. My son really enjoyed fishing in the lakes even though the weather was awful. We will return, but next time I will explore the local woodlands more. This is a relaxed site and perfect for anyone who wants to get away and chill.

Nothing really except access to the local woodlands so I could go foraging which I couldn't find without driving.

The site itself is geared around fishing it has five lakes with large carp and catfish in them.
Nice Cafe on site which serves nice food at reasonable prices, also a small club house which has music at the weekends, the facilities are of good quality and are kept clean.
All staff very friendly

When we arrived we were asked if we would be fishing, as we were not fishing they didn't know quite where to pitch us, in the end we were pitched set back from one of the lakes, we were shown to our pitch put were not told where the showers or toilets were situated or how the pay as you go electric hook up worked if you needed more electric, we had a fair bit of rain while we were there and the ground on our pitch got very soggy and it did not drain away very well, and left puddles on the pitch, also when we were leaving it was such a rigmarole to get a refund for electricity not used I nearly gave up and left without it.

Loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere with great facilities including warm showers and fabulous bar/cafe serving lovely food. Our son's new favourite fishing location. Within easy reach of vast forests and coastal paths.

Nice lakes, well maintained grass areas. Great bar / restaurant and friendly staff

Toilet block in lake 5 area. Showers in the main areas were terrible, shower heads were blocked and temperature was warm at best. Family shower was better but the ceiling was covered in black mould.
Entrance road and roads around the site need some love and attention as full of pot holes.
There appeared to be a lot of caravans on site with workers staying in them long term.
