Pleased with campsite will visit again And recommend it. We enjoyed the swimming pool and steam. We had a meal and drink in the bar and enjoyed it. I found the staff friendly and helpful .

Didn’t see a water top up point for travelling motorhomes but didn’t need it

The idea of camping in the pod. Heated with electricity. A lot of rabbits in the morning running everywhere.
Ease of access from the M6.

The whole park is covered in gravel. There is literally no grass anywhere. The only grassy area was around tiny play area and had no permission to play any type of ball games. Our 2 yo children had basically nothing to do as swimming pool too deep, soft play designed for older kids, no sandpit and of course no balls allowed.

Gentleman on reception was helpful and moved us to there smaller site nearby after we complained and asked for a refund

The 2 pitches for me and my sons caravan was the late night stay which was in the car park facing the workers yard no room to put up are awning which we had paid extra for the space was small large rocks in the ground are view would be the car park and it would have been dangerous for the grandchildren as they wouldn’t have any where to play as the pitch was tiny it wasn’t even a pitch the smaller site the bins where right at the top of the lane entrance in the farmers yard you need your car to empty your rubbish the dog bin there was one near the entrance and it was overflowing with poop bags never saw a warden went to get a electric card wasn’t open when says 9 am this was 9.38 had to get in the car to drive to the other site to buy a electric card

Inadequate information on arrival, the pitch was almost in the car park, the electric was more expensive than what was advertised on electricity box and on email. Toilet facilities and showers only cleaned once on a Thursday and sanitary bins were full and smelled. Would have liked a drink and a meal on site but nothing being served mon-Thursday. We were very disappointed we will not be returning.

Site was peaceful and easy to access

Restaurant closed Mon-Thursday. Plus bar closed at 18.00 Mon-Wed.

used the site as a base to visit parts of the south lakes and play various golf course....excellent site plenty to do on the site aswell should you require a lazy day

The road s to the site are very narrow and towing a caravan makes for very interesting driving...Struggled a few times with oncomingbtraffic

Site is mainly gravel. Would be nice e to have a grass area per site. Our pitch was right on the car park which was handy for the toilets and centre but were basically pitched n the road so not the best for a 3 and 6 year old
