Location is great for silverdale or arnside if your passing through.
Leisure centre is great to wind down after a long drive.
Close to the shower/toilet block

Pitches are just like being in the car park, many visitors to the leisure facilities park around you.
No outdoor personal space if you want to sit out in an evening.
Having to pay extra for electric.

Amazing site, facilities and staff are great, loads of wildlife, feel really nat nature, very respectful site and great value for money, stayed in a mega pod

The pod exceeded my expectations by far! I was a little nervous about this trip as I didn’t take into account how cold it would be in November but I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my pod. It had ample plug sockets and heating that made it lovely and toasty for the whole stay. They are like a tardis! There’s so much room on the inside. The facilities were great and overall very very happy. Will definately look to book again in future.

Nothing not to like, the only thing I would suggest is it would be nice to have a matt on the floor so you have somewhere to wipe your muddy shoes/boots before entering the pod

Camping pod and facilities were immaculate.

Didn’t know there was no food available during my stay.

Can't go wrong with these pods when it comes to Motorbikers. Heater inside allows to dry your kit out on wet days.

Communal facilities to a high standard also.

Turns out the restaurant closes to reduced weekend hours in the off peak season.

This should be noted when booking. I checked through the site page and didn't notice anything.

Located next to a lovely nature reserve with deer, squirrels and water fowl.
Good access to Kendal and coast. Campsite set in woodland setting.
Staff welcoming. Small shop on site.
Pool and gym available (didn't use these)

Site details claim there is WiFi at each pitch but this is not true, have to go to reception area to pick up WiFi and no 5G access on site. 4G signal patchy.
Pod number 1 is very close to bar area so quite noisy in the evening.
Toilet block not cleaned regularly and toilet roll dispensers often jammed so unable to dispense.
