The farm is well looked after with the ability to see and feed lots of wonderful animals. Farm shop and cafe were great sold good local produce at fair prices as well as logs etc. The bathroom facilities do take some adjusting to (compost toilets and showers that have large openings) but were cleaned regularly.
Ik was niet zo blij met: Due to 'private party' options on the fields the site attracts large groups of families with large numbers of children, during the day it wasn't an issue that they were playing but seemed children were left to own devices during the evening and were running around the field until well past 10pm with the 'supervising' adults not paying any attention. Seems slightly unfair that there are very strict rules on couples or adult groups not playing music at any time day or night in order to not disturb families but yet kids screaming until late at night is ok. Maybe this could be reviewed as a bit of music to drown out some of the noise would have been very helpful
A terrific site lacks the standard camp toilet and shower blocks.

Thank you for leaving a review - we are glad to hear any feedback here at church farm. Firstly, I'm glad to hear that our farm shop and the activities available to children were to your liking, we pride ourselves on customer service.
In regards to the facilities, we do appreciate that they are slightly more "rustic" than your standard toilet or shower. We appreciate your feedback on the bolt locks, and muddy area (something we find is an ongoing challenge in the unpredictable weather of this country) - we take these comments on board and this will be raised with our camping team.
Of course, we are located along a flight path - some campers do find no issue with this, however I do appreciate how this can have an effect your stay. It's not something we try to hide, and we try to make people aware as best we can in camping booking confirmations.
Anyhow, thank you so much for your review - and we apologise we weren't up to our usual best standards on the day. If you do consider coming back, we can offer you a free farm day visit for you and your family - get into contact with us to claim this (mention myself, Ollie).

As for the bathrooms - we do appreciate your comment on this as it is one of the many challenges, as we do have many facilities across the entire campsite we try to keep clean at all times - but the fact that it's on a farm sometimes makes this a challenge. We do check and clean the facilities twice a day but it is something we are constantly trying to improve. We hope this didn't impact your stay - and if it did, we send our sincerest apologies.

Apologies for the noisy children, I completely understand how annoying that must have been. We had a different night security chap covering for 2 weekends in June, it sounds like he needs reminding that children need to stop running around making noise at 9pm.
