Loved the forest and all the animals around the farm. The Farm ethos and everything about how the place is run is commendable. The shop, cafe and pub across the road are also a nice touch.

Directly under the flight path... which means peace and quite only lasts 5-10min in between planes landing. 5am wake-up is guaranteed everyday!

Easy to navigate, friendly staff, lots of animals to see and lots of information on them. My son loved collecting the chicken eggs and seeing the process of what happens after. He also loved the fact he got a box of eggs at the end too.

Every day visiting the farm, kept busy with activity trails and play areas. Kids loved the huge straw bales. Spacious site. Very well maintained compost toilets complete with stools for little ones.

We really enjoyed all of the facilities at Church Farm Ardeley. The play areas for the kids were perfect and the farm animals were so sweet. The farm is well laid out with good access. The shop is well stocked and coffee shop and other small businesses on site are also worth a visit. The pub has a nice little garden area which we enjoyed.

We stayed as a group of 4 families with young children and felt the site had everything we needed.

Church Farm is about 15-20 min drive from Stevenage town centre which was good for getting any extra supplies although most of what we needed was provided in the onsite shop.

Toilets and showers were clean and worked well. I also loved the addition of the solar lights in the toilets which was a thoughtful touch.

Amazing site… clean, spacious and great facilities. Plenty of space and the animals on the farm were great entertainment for my 5 year old. There was some loud music from a party in a nearby village (which was only a very minor disturbance) and the manager came an apologises and offered to have us back at no cost which was completely unnecessary but a very nice touch and I think speaks volumes on the type of establishment this is. We will 100% be going back.

I stayed for two nights with my 6 year old daughter we had an amazing time, farm staff and fellow campers were friendly. The farm shop has a good stock of meat, bread, charcoal even giant marshmallows. And beers.
Farm cafe makes an amazing breakfast bap and there's a pub opposite!

Gorgeous, calm space, although I was the only camper on one of the nights! Beautiful views, awesome place. Love the way they support vulnerable members of society with the project. Really cool. Had a cracking chat with some hens.

We stayed in a forested pitch that was close enough to amenities to be comfortable, but far enough away from other campers to have a sense of privacy. The pitch was large enough to house our 8 man tent, with enough space left over for us to set up a kitchen and bonfire. The campsite was very serene and the presence of farm animals and local wildlife really enhances the experience. The farm shop and cafe were well stocked and the staff friendly and helpful. We were really interested to hear of the sites purpose to support the protection of local insects and wildlife while providing local young people with special needs the chance to get into farming. We only stayed for one night but wish it was longer and we're very keen to come back, can't believe this site was on our doorstep this entire time!

Great stay at church farm, bell tent was in a beautiful secluded spot, showers great! Amazing near meat the farm shop and a lovely meal at the pub. The staff friendly and helpful. Will return next year!

Great facilities for shower and toilets near semi-wild camping area. Well-stocked farm shop and pub just across the road. The hay bales were really useful and we picked Church Farm so we could have a campfire. Would go again!

Almost got stuck in mud as non 4WD vehicle.
