Plenty of space, close to the town centre.

Pitch Up seems to deem the site fully booked whilst there is loads of space left. I was going to be joined by friends, but they couldn't book as it was full. There was lots of available plots. The contact number is answerphone so it's impossible to speak to anyone. Maybe Pitch up needs to be informed of the capacity more accurately?

Easy arrival and choose your own pitch, close to town and individual shower rooms.

Commercial vehicles coming and going from business on site. Would be a problem if sitting outside as they kick up a lot of dust.

The open space, level pitches, clean toilets and showers. General relaxed no-fuss environment.
Location - short walk to town centre.

The “showground” part of the whole area is showing its age, but didn’t spoil it.

Quiet well maintained site, friendly staff and lovely short walk to town.

Fantastic location. Shrewsbury is such a pretty town.
We used the site as a base, Shrewsbury train station is a 10 minute walk, from here we took the train to Aberystwyth, this is a really scenic route.
The showers on site are perfect, lovely and hot, free running water with a sink and toilet. Our visit was February, so the site was quiet, I can imagine they'd be a queue for these in the summer months as there are only 4 onsite.
There's a cute little book nook in the entrance.
This isn't a fancy site with landscaped grounds, but it does everything you need.. electric that doesn't trip! Great showers, lots of water taps, in a lovely pretty town.

Pick your own pitch on arrival. All with hook up, a long lead may be required. Toilets and showers are in like a mobile unit but clean and hot water, may need flipflops as floor can be slippy or with mud from walking on grass. Very quiet site, short walk along riverside,which can he muddy in bad weather, into Shrewsbury. Been here several times , ideal for our night away, Shrewsbury is full of bars, shops, pubs, eating places, lovely walk along the river. Fantastic for star gazing. Indoor pot wash area and laundry facilities on site.
