We stayed in Emma's Glade, it was very quiet and peaceful. The camp location was very good for short car journeys to Bournmouth and the New Forest. Facilities were readily available and nice and close by. The freezer for cold packs was appreciated to rejuvenate our cold box. Over all a very nicely organised campsite with good facilities and warm service.
Ik was niet zo blij met: The claim of 'dark sky area' was a little dubious, I could clearly see orange light in the sky, perhaps for those from London it may seem dark, but not for an average area. We stayed in the wilder part of the camp - so this is not the camp's fault, but we found around 20 small ticks on our bodies after having stayed there. Not a mark against the camp, just something worth noting as an unpleasant surprise.
Thank you for your lovely review and your 10/10 score. I'm sorry about the ticks, they are particularly bad this time of year and we do sell tick removers in our shop to help with getting rid of them. We hope to see you again soon.

Ik was niet zo blij met: We booked an astroturf pitch for our small camper van and awning. Being our first time we were a little confused over the positioning and ended up putting our awning in the wrong place. Our pegs were not suitable for the astroturf but weren’t aware that we needed rock pegs. Needs to be made clear when booking and on the website. We will stock up on rock pegs for our next visit. Also alternative milk options for the coffee machine would be a great addition.

We do say on the web site and we also send you a pre arrival email saying you need rock pegs for the astro turf.
There is also a pitch guide given on arrival that shows you how to set up on each pitch. Next time you come we will walk you to the pitch and show you. Just remember rock pegs and a lump hammer.
