Beautiful views, excellent facilities brilliant location

The motorhome pitches are at the top of the hill so it’s quite a trek back from the main facilities

Was nice site very clean and lots of facilities there we o it stayed the night and arrived late so didn’t get the usage of facilities

Few loud parties camping sounded like they were partying
Shouting at each other

The club house and location

Staff were not very helpful on the camping area.
I was told I could have had a smaller pitch but the weren’t prepared to change pitch to save me some money.
Then like I said there were so many empty pitches so I don’t understand why we were pitched next to 3 families as a group of people with there dogs and there music playing till all hours.
Plus there was only one toilet block to this big camp site that was a good distance away and through the night you can imagine what it was like.
Also we were alarmed at the two security guards hanging about.
We didn’t feel wanted or safe so we only stayed the one night out of our two.
And don’t expect to be able to swap ice packs it’s a no no .

Beautiful views, facilities were fine even though half were closed but as we were out of peak there was still plenty.
Kids enjoyed entertainment.
Location was pe4fect for Bude, beaches and surrounding places.
You could even walk to the beach which was great (1mile)

Lots of pitches avaliable as off peak but we didn't get to chose, would have been nice to get an option so we could have been closer to the loos, site rules say no under 12 allowed in loos alone so this meant me having to take 3 kids each time when the older two 9 and 7 could have gone alone. However we understand the reasons for the rule. Drinks and food in the club house were very expensive. Site shop extortion.

Lovely and quiet, nice clean static caravan,close to the beach, especially liked being able to book Monday to Monday.

Not enough toilets/ showers blocks for the tent pitches

The overall vibe of the site was friendly and in general the facilities made the stay enjoyable. The toilet/ shower block was particularly well kept, new-looking and clean. The swimming pool was moderately well kept and clean and was nice and accessible for days spent on the site. The veiws and sunsets from the top of the hill were impeccable and stunning as you could see straight to the ocean. We very much enjoyed our time spent in the Drifters entertainment and the food at Chef’s Corner was substantial and provided options for vegans as well as gluten free individuals. The customer service when ordering food was particularly memorable.

The activities on offer were fun however the minigolf was slightly impractical for the less abled golfers as the condition of the greens were not ideally flat. The pool had a slight cloud to it. The site is located on a hill and staying at the top of it made the trek to the pitch quite a hike and expended lots of energy after a long day but I guess that is the price you have to pay for such beautiful views. The location of the site is only a short bus ride from Bude but we also found within the closer area there was not much to occupy ourselves with when we wanted to leave the campsite. The pitch that we were designated to camp on was on a slight incline unfortunately.

Had a lovely stay at widemouth, the warden was very helpful arrived in the rain to find out we had lost a tent pole, the warden was very helpful and round us a spare. We was a group of 4 tents they had us pitched up next to each other with lots of space for the kids to play. The toilet blocks were very clean lovely warm showers. We all had a great weekend.

Didn't dislike anything, we didn't realise the swimming pool didn't have showers, keep your entertainment passes on you, we had to go back to get ours before they would let us into the entertainment.

Clean loos

Hardstanding sites full of weeds, place looks a bit down at heel and unkempt. Hardstanding surface is poor grade loose stone that gets stuck to shoes and walked into caravan. Would not stay here again. Tent pitches are on boggy ground. Drainage seems to be an issue
