Very good place. Many activities for children near to the beach. We’ll come again next summer.

The entertainment

The showers, the sloped pitches, the maintenance of the site. Swimming is like a pond.

The club house has free wifi and good entertainment for all ages. They have a decent size football pitch which is behind the club house with places for parents to sit and keep an eye on their children. They also have a decent size park. A shop that is a decent Size. The pool is size and pretty warm.

It says that it’s a slight slop but in some place it’s pretty steep. When it rains the fields go really boggy but they do roll the fields when It’s been dry for a couple days. And the toilets and showers are placed in the middle which mean that it is a 5 mins walk way up a slope. The showers lost pressure and didn’t really work if multiple showers where running at a time.

Location , the beach nearby is beautiful.

Facilities where poor, dirty. Pitches very close together. And our pitch was like a muddy bog. Squelching mud. Will not be returning to this site.

The main shower & toilet block wasn’t very clean. It was august & a very busy touring section but we felt that there wasn’t enough cleaning being done in both blocks. In 5 days I never smelled cleaning products. Floor & around the sinks were not wiped regularly. There definitely needs to more cleaning & maybe more shower blocks.
The site is sloped so was very hard to pitch level.
We did smell “weed” quite a few times.

Entertainment was great for the younger kids, plenty to do not only in the evening but also in the morning.

Park, mini golf, laundrette and shop very handy to have on site.

Tent pitches aren’t flat so pretty hard to sleep without falling off air bed, especially the kids.
Also be prepared to do a lot of steps as some pitches are not close to the toilet blocks

The lovely view and my super large pitch #59. My electric pitch was on a junction looking straight down the valley to the sea, so we had extra grass space for all the children to play in.
The manager super helpful and friendly. We had an issue with a child on the campsite calling our children names and generally hanging about our pitches being a nuisance. Had a chat with the manager and it was sorted straight away.
The new shower/toilet block. Clean, hot water with very good pressure, plenty of space.
Park and shop. Kids loved the park and were down there most days, the shop had a really good selection of everything you need. They were the other end of the park from us so a fair walk but it kept the kids entertained.
I’ve seen reviews about the pot holes, they really weren’t that bad and most got filled in while we were there.
The main toilet block while we were there was open all the time, the new one shut during the night. Not a problem as plenty of space in the old one.
Bins were overflowing when we got there but then were emptied the following day and regularly after that.

Too big, too busy, too cramped (my friends pitches) too noisy for our liking. The pool. The laundrette. The lights.
I think someone had pitched on the wrong side of the hard standing before we arrived so my friends had to pitch their tents on the wrong side too. This was ok for one of them but for the other she had to pitch right under the window of one of the pods (window open all the time so could hear conversation at 6am plus snoring all night) good job her tent was on the smaller side as she wouldn’t of fit it on the pitch. Ended up been rather cramped.
Being on a junction we got all the cars going past, so was always quite busy and headlights shiny in tents when everyone decides to come home from the pub.
Security lights in the camping fields, way too bright and glad I wasn’t pitched under one like some people were.
The pool. we went down on a Tuesday to be told it wasn’t an hours session, more like 35mins as they had to get it ready for the next session they were holding in there. Had we of known we wouldn’t have booked that time but it doesn’t say on the app nor anywhere else.
Pool was cold. We stayed a week and didn’t go back.
Main toilet/shower block. Used the showers once in there before heading for the new block instead. Showers dribbled water out.
Could be dirty if you went in at/after rush hour as such, but I blame that on how disgusting people can be when it’s not their home so it seems.
I went to use the laundrette once but there was a queue for the washing machine’s. More than 1 were out of order, don’t know if they were fixed in the time we were there as decided not to go back and check.
Could hear the main road on a night. Unfortunately I could hear the main road once the campsite had quietened down. You think you are a fair way off it when going down the road and into the campsite but by the time you’ve gone back up the hill to the camping field you’re only a couple of fields away from it.
They seem to of tried to put as many pitches on the place as possible so it just seem too cramped and busy for my liking. Just looked a Little unkempt.
They really need to get an area to park with caravans/trailer tents when booking in.

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Man ist in wenigen Gehminuten an den Klippen und dann am Strand.
Leider sind die Sanitäranlagen in die Jahre gekommen und dadurch schnuckelig und es sieht immer dreckig aus. Sie werden 2x täglich gereinigt, allerdings langt dies nicht, dass es sauber wirkt. Sie haben einen neuen Container mit WC und Duschen gebaut, allerdings ist der zu eng. Man muss sich in der Dusche umziehen, also keinen separaten kleinen Umziehbereich. Was auch richtig schlecht ist, dass man jeden Duschenden über die Decke, weil es spiegelt beobachten kann.

Die Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen, dadurch sehr schmuddelig, wirken immer, auch nach der 2xigen Reinigung dreckig. Viele Fließen sind kaputt, in denen sich der Schmutz verfängt.
Der ganze Platz müsste renoviert werden, dann wäre er weiter zu empfehlen.
In dem neueren Waschcontainer, ist alles enger, aber neuer. Aber hier muss man sich in der Dusche umziehen, d.h. beim Duschen werden die Klamotten nass und man kann beobachtet werden. Die Decke spiegelt sich.
