Lovely campsite, facilities were modern and clean, WIFI reached where we were pitched well, dog friendly, peaceful and beautiful

It was a shame the fish and chips, bar and games room were closed Monday and Tuesday as we were staying at the beginning of the week but went in on the Wednesday to great service

We stayed here for a long weekend away from home. On first arrival the staff in the gift shop were friendly and helpful. We arrived Friday lunchtime to find there was plenty of space and a choice of areas to pitch up. By Saturday lunchtime then site was quite full.

Large playground area was very popular with children.

After a long day out we popped in the bar, just to have a look at it really. Drinks were reasonably priced, large open room with separate area for over 18's only.

You can head out walking in any direction from the site, lots of scenery to explore.

Extractor fans in the combined shower/toilet block wasn't working which meant they were dripping wet all day and a bit smelly!

What a beautiful, quiet and well serviced site. We were travelling at a time when we'd expect the place to be quiet and this is what we like. I can imaging the site will get very busy during school holiday times and, with a big play area, it may well be busy and a little noisy then, but it would certainly be a great place for a family to stay. Toilets block was spotless and hot water plentiful in the showers. The Bar and games rooms were excellent. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Proximity to the wash rooms and the peace and quiet. Pitches were well spaced out and there was a water pipe at the pitch.

The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Despite the great natural setting sadly there was no access for a decent dog walk.

Lovley stay at Ullswater. Great facilities all around and amazing spot to be near the lakes

Lovely spacious site. Nice walk for the dogs too in the mornings.. super facilities, used the bar both nights.. great shop, enjoyed a fabulous tasty chippy on the first night and the toilets and showers were lovely and very clean. The staff at reception were really friendly and helpful. There was even a shuttle bus. We will definitely be back.

Clean tidy site with a coffee shop, shop, bar and chip shop

Site is well laid out but pitches behind reception are quite tight if you have a large caravan to get in and out but are big pitches with water and electric on the pitch

Close to the lake and many places close to visit

Staff are fantastic and a credit to the site

Playground was amazing kids loved it especially the zip line

Beautiful location, friendly staff, plenty of room, lovely views, tasty food from the chippy, easy to access.

It was a shame we couldn't have a campfire as that is one of the main things we love about camping. Sitting around a fire, watching the flames, roasting marshmallows etc. We've never been to a campsite that didn't allow fires.

No drying room available which was needed given the torrential rain. Other sites have drying rooms.

Brilliant site, we had a lovely stay with our three young children. The play park was excellent for them keeping them amused while we got set up and sorted. The onsite site chip shop was a lifesaver after landing quite late on the Friday evening! The staff were all very helpful! Just a short car journey to various parts of the lake with plenty of activities to choose from! Look forward to our next stay!

Lovely location, very clean and tidy.
The showers were excellent, very clean and well maintained.
Oh and the on site fish and chips, yummy.
