Lovely site, everything we needed .
Lots of space

Didn’t like the bar at 6.30 pm they had a kids disco and was far too noisy for us

Easy hookup, close to toilet and showers which were always clean.
Kids really enjoyed the on site park. Little shop was well enough stocked.
Staff were very helpful and kept the place clean and tidy.
I have been here a few times now and would come back again.

We had the on site fish and chips. Other than the good portion size it was not good. Not to our taste with thick batter and felt a bit too greasy.

The place was great
Me and my brother had an amazing 4 full days of great walking covering no less than 70 miles in what can only be described as
God's country...... the park had everything we needed and more so full marks

Not enough hiking paths
Us hikers don't like to walk on roads.. golden rule.....so if anybody on the local councils in the area could accommodate us hikers better we would really appreciate it after all we are working class heroes after all

Spacious, flat, sheltered pitches. Fish and Chip shop. Bar. Location. Marina. On site shop. Friendly staff. Staff regularly around site to clean bins, trim grass and clean facilities.

Not all guests kept to noise guidelines, but better than most other campsites visited.

Great views and facilities. Friendly staff, good evening entertainment in the on-site bar.

Toilet block and showers very good. Lots of park activities for the kids to play on and keep busy.

Lovely site with spacious pitches. Great clean facilities.
The bus at the bottom of the hill (about 20 min walk) was great to get to anywhere enroute to Windermere and Keswick in the other direction.

Everything about this campsite was perfect

very clean showers toilets and sink areas were clean staff very friendly.

The onsite shop had a variety of everything and wasn’t expensive, coffee from the cafe was lovely.

Laundrette has two washers and 1 dryer - washer £5 per token and the dryer took £1 coins

Little games room for kids was nice to see so many kids having fun and a variety of ages too

They had a little park for the kids which was always full of the younger ones enjoying themselves

The WiFi I was very surprised how well this worked

We will definitely be returning here
