Easy to locate camp site. Camp site had good facilities and well looked after, check in was easy, shower and toilet block available, hot water in the shower, hair dryer available, fridge and freezer on site (although small). Washing machine was available to use at a cost.
Vending machine with milk, ice cream and coffee available for use, right next to the river. Nice walk areas on site.
Close drive to a lot of sights.
There are the jet fly by which is quite nice

The water by the electric tent hook up area doesn’t really get warm or hot, old holes in the toilet stall wall.
A lot of dogs kept off leash even though it was states dogs should remain on leash, we just kept our dogs in their crate the entire time on camp site as off leash dogs kept coming up to our dogs causing them to pull at the leash the entire time when outside crate, when spoke to the owner of the dogs, they said that they’re dogs are “good”..
pitches for electric hook up area is very small and close to other pitches, not much space between them so it lacks a lot of privacy especially with a lot of kids there who were playing football and riding their bikes.
Camping site is close to road and you can hear the noise of the road quite clearly.
A lot of mess around the edges of the pitches and also other dog mess.
Maybe the non electric tent pitches would be different.
Not much view of the scenery nearby.

Site was nice, clean, and very close to the Water sports centre, ideal if you want to try Kayaking or white water rafting.

Otter trail is a lovely walk.

WiFi was good.

Only a couple of short walks available in the area. We wanted to walk to Bala, and we hoped there would be a footpath, but there wasn’t. No TV but WiFi was good so could stream.

we have stayed here a number of times both on the grass pitches and the fully services pitches - absolutely lovely site with good clean facilities, basic shop and friendly staff. Super close to the White Water Centre with easy access to the river and about a 20 minute drive to Bala. Stunning location and will use time and time again - good WiFi

the midges - make sure you bring spray, citronella stuff and light a fire - despite all of this still got bit but can't blame the camp site for this - downside of being close to the river

Peaceful and Clean Campsite with the River passing by. Stone throw from the small and beautiful Bala town to visit. Highly recommend :)

The fantastic location and facilities

The campsite has great showers, toilet and washing facilities. I especially liked the coffee and icecream vending machines. The staff were very helpful on arrival and even gave us a USB lead for our Bluetooth speake as we had forgotten ours.

As we had a tent box we couldn't drive out and we weren't able to walk to Bala safely as the roads had no pavements so had to get a taxi there and back. We did find out too late that we could have walked there on an old rail track from a path just off the camp site. We also chose the wettest weekend in July but it didn't spoil things.

The pitches had massive stones/rocks in them, meaning it was so hard not to have a lump in your tent pitch.

If you’re disabled you cannot use a toilet or shower between 11am and 1pm as the cleaner told us direct, no posters or signs about this. (Aware they are on other toilets - but how would you see if you’re using disabled only) the cleaner was rude, other toilets had lots of cobwebbeds, dated, lack of toilet roll after cleaner visit too

The bugs are next level, I understand it’s next to a river but it was intense meaning was back in my rent by 8pm

No mobile phone signal on the site, I feel this should be mentioned to plan

The ice cream vending machine was over priced

The milk for coffee machine isn’t re-fridge rated so left in a warm area

Milkshake machine dosent exist anymore

Excellent site, lots of amenities to make your stay easier and more enjoyable. Cold fresh drinking water, showers and toilets clean.
