Lovely campsite with great views. Loads of good walks straight from the park. Everything you need on site. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Convenience of being close to family in the area. Owners were very helpful and friendly.

It was a small site which is good but there were 2 of the pitches already in use by what looked like long time Campers. Both of them men and I'm a single female. When I arrived on both days, one of the men came out with his 2 dogs to walk them in front of me. He was out and back very quickly, no exercise for the dogs etc so it appeared innocent on day 1 but on day 2 it looked like a dominance behaviour although it did not intimidate me, it may have done so to others. When I returned to the site 2nd night, the other male had parked his van on my pitch so the owner had to ask him to move it. He did move but not alongside his outfit, he put it in the entrance to the dog walking field. Not a car parking spot. The 2 men behaved as though it was there private campsite, using every empty pitch for their vehicles and being awkward when asked to move them.

Beautiful views, access to Tamar trails cycle route and proximity to Tavistock. Great location for the Dartmoor area.

Water for showers could have been warmer as we stayed on a very cold weekend. The campsite owner was going to look into that as this was their first winter season.

Toilet and shower block is a bit tired

We camped on site for four nights, great views from the camping field, good facilities. The site is well situated for visiting Tavistock and the local National trust sites nearby, a little further afield is plymouth which is about 35 mins away. we would happily go to site again.

Lovely site and very friendly. Chickens and ducks come to visit as well. Close to a lot of places to visit.

Lovely site loved the secluded bay for our tent. Lovely clean shower and toilet block ,
use of a fridge/freezer and lots of recycle bins. Nice stroll around the camp site, seeing the farm life very friendly chickens. had a lovely stay and can't wait to return. This was our 3rd site being new to camping and this was the best experience we have had. The WiFi was good and there was a shop which we didn't use. Owners were very friendly. Didn't hear the animals and very peaceful. Saw some rabbits. We also had a picnic table we could use. We will be back.

Toilets very clean, tidy, cobweb free! Owners are fantastic and the site is kept in very good condition

Nothing really, my own fault for coming in half term but I imagine it’s blissful in the other months, would definitely return
