Lovely site, friendly staff and lovely pizzas on site to! Can't wait to stay again.

Pitches were a good size.
Facilities were really good quality!

Some guests were quite loud when it was getting late, as had young children trying to sleep.

Clean toilets and showers, good size pitches with a fantastic view.

The playground is great and the pizza was delicious. All together a well put together and convenient site.

The staff were really helpful, attentive and knowledgeable- even offering to help put up the tent!

Would 100% reccommend this site to families with small kids.

As the site is at the top of a hill it can be quite windy, we would take a windbreak next time.

Overall I think this was the best campsite I’ve stayed on, toilets showers clean and well maintained water was hot, kitchen wash areas with hot water perfect, we had electric pitch which was great size for my 12 man air tent, beautiful views and the staff we great, pub staff very inviting and help me look for my son when he decided to wonder off with my dog around then camp when dark, we had a pleasant stay and will definitely come again next year.

Very quiet, relaxed and good facilities. There was wifi but pretty faint however we were not expecting it so it was a bonus. 30 minutes from Matlock where our activities were located. Food in the pub was great but there was a really long wait after being sat down and was tough to keep the kids entertained. Overall, we liked the stay and will re book next year.

Shower strength in some of the showers was frustratingly weak and ran hot to cold too. Lots of bugs attracted to the lights..appreciate this is nature but maybe doors on a hinges would help as most were left open.

Clean toilet facilities all day and night. Perfect location, under 10 minutes drive to the Aldi in Buxton. Felt safe even when solo for the first few nights before my husband joined me and the dog.

Nothing, a reoccurring visitor for this reason.

Small site. Peaceful scenery. Lovely views. Private. Good sized pitch. Toilet facilities were nice and clean. Lovely play area 10+ but nothing for small children. Easy self check in / out. No phone signal easy to unwind! Friendly staff. Friendly neighboring cows! Wonderful site and we will book again!

Tractors driving by very quickly( scary with small children). Close proximity to 60mph road (scary with kids and noisy at night). Restaurant closed half the week.
If the site was busy the toilets would be very crowded.

Excellent location-easy to find and get to lots of activities nearby, but quiet and secure feeling site.

Would have liked someplace to freeze ice packs, and a couple of sockets for charging on site (for non-electric pitches)

Facilities were great. Friendly staff. Easy to find and use electric pitch. Much quieter than other campsites I've been to!
