A really well equipped site with everything you need from a well stocked shop to spotlessly clean toilet and washing facilities. The private bathrooms were amazing - the best of any campsite we have stayed at.

A lovely quiet site, with a warm welcome and lots of information which made for a perfect stay.

Just a shame you can’t walk to Kingsbridge and have to get in the car. The bus service was good though.

Lovely stay, facilities were luxury. Very quiet and friendly. It was great having the bus stop right outside the site. Had a lovely trip to Dartmouth and Salcombe.

Location was perfect. Transport links great. Information provided by site was perfect and unlike any other places we've stayed. App showing everything from taxi numbers and bus time tables to restaurant recommendations. Best campsite we have visited. Shop on site was very well stocked. The hosts were brilliant, even giving us a lift into town when we missed our bus. Glamping Pod and private facilities were immaculately clean and well equipped

The pod we stayed in was near the busy A road. This was unfortunately very noisy in the evenings and early mornings. Unable to use the smart TV as was reliant on WiFi which was too weak.

Great location , Kingsbridge is walkable but why bother as bus tops outside site .
Amazingly clean and well looked after site . Shower/ bathroom facilities are best we have seen.
Shop on site has everything you could need.

A little expensive but you pay for the quality of facilities.

Very clean facilities, big pitch and well stocked 'honesty' kitchen. Staff were very helpful when I had an issue with my car.

Excellent and plentiful bathroom facilities including showers and baths. The Cowshed, a residents lounge with complimentary tea and coffee, games, tv, and even a workstation and laptop.
The licenced honesty shop, full of local produce and an extensive range of wines beers, and spirits.
The complimentary spa session at the nearby Dartmouth hotel
The bus stop at the entrance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe, and Totnes in the other direction

The location of the site is really good, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The local bus stops right outside the site entrance and you can use it to get to Salcombe, Totnes and Dartmouth (via Kingsbridge). This meant we didn't have to move our camper at all once we'd got set up.
We liked the excellent facilities, which were modern and kept exceptionally clean. We didn't have to wait once for a bathroom, shower room or toilet.
The campsite shop is open 24 hours, very well stocked and items are competitively priced. We also enjoyed relaxing in The Cowshed (customer lounge), which has comfy sofas, flat screen tv, large selection of books, games and dvd's and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. As we only have a small campervan, we appreciated relaxing there and catching up with the international football (also appreciated were the fridges stocked with wine, beer and cold drinks!)
The campsite is really quiet and peaceful and we found it most relaxing. James and Tracey are doing an excellent job!

There was hardly anything to dislike and we had a lovely time. The only thing that would have been nice, would be maybe having somewhere safe to take a walk. The local roads are not suitable for strolling!

Facilities, honesty shop, picket fences, nice hosts.

Campervans and caravans on the grass tent pitch area. It would feel extra special if it was a tent only area.

How friendly and helpful the site staff were.

The on-site shop had pretty much everything.

Location directly on bus route which suited us as we don't like the problem of parking the motorrhome in public car parks. Although only a 30 minute walk into town it was not safe to do so on the road. We'll kept site, lovely bathrooms with bath/shower, very clean, well stocked shop.

You can't walk anywhere from the site but the bus is a good option to get to Salcombe, Totnes, Dartmouth (if you change at Kingsbridge) and can get boat trip back to town. A week is probably enough.
