The staff are always friendly. The arrival time is 11 which lets you set up and still enjoy a good bit of the day. There is an on site club which has a restaurant, and arcade. This is a nice addition and they usually have sometime on each night.
The site is close to Skegness centre and the beach and for those who need it the bus stops right by the entrance. 5 minute trip to Butlin’s or Fantasy Island. Pitches are big and the site is tidy and quiet at night.

Because it’s big site the male toilet/shower facilities aren’t always clean. They are cleaned twice a day but at busy times this probably isn’t enough.

Great location. Everything you need on site. Good entertainment.

We arrived at about 5.30 to find the reception had closed but were told to go to the club house and they would sort us out.....unfortunately they didn't have any paperwork for us but the chap behind the bar made a quick phone call and told us to walk back to reception and the lady would meet us there......low and behold a very apologetic lady met us and with in 5 mins we were on our way to our pitch.

We chose and electric fully serviced pitch.

The pitch was level and half gravel half grass and was spotless, with the added bonus of water, grey water disposal and also elsan disposal but we found it easier to go to the elsan point in the toilet block.

Speaking of toilet block as we aren't one to say "thou shalt not poop in the motorhome" we didn't really use these facilities but I did pop in for a quick wee when walking the dog and all looked OK.....although I do prefer the sort of shower that gives you more space between you shower and your clothes.

You are given 5kwh per day free so for our 3 nights we got 15kwh which you load onto your meter via the pass (that also doubles up as the gate pass)....

Overall we found the site relaxing and quiet, and the staff very helpful.

Efficient service at check in.
Flat serviced pitch and despite being a large commercial site it was very quiet.
We took the little grandson and he enjoyed the play park.
Clubhouse food was good with quick service and food very good.
Site within a short walking distance to the beach.
Overall a lovely experience and the sunshine played its part.
I am sure that we will return.

Booking in was quick & easy, staff were polite & friendly. The pods were exactly that, although an electric allowance is provided in the price and an electric heater is supplied. There was 2 of them in their own fenced off area surrounded by conifers, which was nice to have privacy. (Slightly unlevel ground though) The site was easy access and to find. plenty of toilets, showers, hand sinks in the block which was cleaned regularly. Plenty to do for kids. Shop, pub/entertainment, crazy golf. It was quite a quiet site considering there were kids around. Would revisit again. I would recommend to others if they are looking for a low budget caravan/motor home site without the things a Haven or Butlins site provide.

On the site it says walking is 5/10 minutes to the beach, it is more like 15/20 mins & if you want to walk at a steady pace into the centre of the hustle & bustle then you’re talking 30mins easy, There are buses that pass the site regularly so that is an option. The site would benefit from some landscaping areas & benches dotted around. The gravel bases for caravan/motor home pitches could do with a regular sweeping as gravel is sprayed onto the roads & it looks untidy (but that’s just me being particular)
