Toilet/shower block was always clean. Great facilities. Pub next door. Great to take your dog. Generous pitch. Staff were very good. Would definitely stay again.

Small shop reasonably priced.

Laundry was very useful for us as a family.
Personally I like the fact there is no kids play park as I prefer them to stay nearer our pitch to enjoy as a family. So many places to take them to everyday, they won’t need wearing out!
The possibility of having a little area with some books / games / toys to borrow perhaps would be helpful for families travelling light.

I love the low light policy as it gives you the chance to enjoy the star filled sky. Take a torch if you need to for night time trips to the loo.

Pitching a tent in storm Betty ha ha! Shout out to our next door tent neighbours for helping us in gale force winds & pouring rain!! Couldn’t have managed without them.
Due to recent weather the pitch was already fairly muddy on arrival. Our pitch was sloping to the point things sliding off of tables, so something to bear in mind if you can wedge something underneath, bring that along in case.
Trees could do with a little trim back to avoid overhanging the tent.

Toilets need to be cleaned more often & showers require a deep clean. Press button showers don’t stay on anywhere near long enough. Temperature fluctuates & at times far too hot, especially for children. Could benefit from a hook / shelf in shower to avoid needing toiletries on the floor. Sink cold taps very powerful & creates quite a mess when washing hands.

Possibly a little fence or higher wall to deter some little darlings from climbing all over the stones near the herb planter & throwing them into the road & pitches.
Inconsiderate guests recycling their glass very late at night / early morning. Unsure what can be done about that however, other than guests using some common sense and respect for others.

The facilities were excellent, clean and plentiful and well thought out. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The rabbit field were we pitched our tent. This is not a field it is a tiny patch of uneven grass. No view of anything and a very small pitch. I would not recommend booking for a tent pitch on this field. The other areas were much nicer, had we have known this we would have booked one of those areas.

All the pitches seemed to be fairly level so no rolling on each other.

Camp site was small and quiet.

Right next to a quiet village feel pub (was never noisy)

Facilities get cleaned once a day. I feel like this isn’t enough as when we arrived they were pretty gross. Rubbish hair toothbrushes. Next day was all clean by the afternoon.

If you go in the pub don’t mention the pizza van or you will get an essay about how the landlord isn’t happy about it stealing his trade and how they no longer get on with the camp owners.

Our pitch was less grass more mud which wasn’t ideal and I know you get this from constant use

Lovely clean site. We had a super pitch, lovely set up and everything worked perfectly, no power tripping! We tried the launderette and found it good.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Pub next door again friendly and food delicious. Dog friendly, so many pop bins and a couple of fields reserved for dog walking.
Wi-Fi was okay.
Some good start gazing when sky is clear.
Beautiful surroundings, overlooking the sea.

Tried the ladies showers in the early afternoon and found them cold and had to constantly push the button, so even if it was warm enough to wash my hair, I physically couldn’t do both.
Very noisy at times, with unruly children throwing stones around cars, ringing the fire bell and being very noisy. This site has no play area for children, and is more suited to being an adult only site.
Dog owners not picking up their dog poo, despite many bins around the site, which were emptied regularly, one even near the toilet block, which had been trodden in yuk.

Facilities, quietness and the pitches were a good size.

Very short time the showers stayed on....very difficult to wash your hair in!

The warm freshly baked croissants. Clean, hot showers. Friendly staff.

Kitchen in pub only open till 6pm 8.30pm so no breakfast and not at all on Wednesdays.
