A well organised site, cheerfully and efficiently managed. Luxurious facilities - for instance, the shower cubicles were spacious enough, for a change!
Great situation too, with plenty of walking from the site.

We stayed on Beggars Field with EHU and were happy with our pitch. It was relatively flat and also spacious for our large tent. The site is high up with lovely views. It is a very peaceful site and geared towards relaxing and being generally chilled out. The night skies are amazing, you can stargaze here to your heart's content on clear nights! It was nice to see that people hadn't got solar lights, especially madly flashing ones, outside their tents or vans which spoils the ability to see the skies properly. It was stunning. The facilities are spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Had good experiences with both reception staff members we dealt with, the guy who helped us plan our walks and days out was great, really helpful. The washing up area is indoors in a lovely clean space. It's a small compact site but never felt cramped because of the way it's laid out into individual areas. Really liked it here.

Sadly the beautiful shower block facilities, which are modern and immaculately clean, are let down by the truly terrible showers. The cubicles are a great size but the water is so hot that it hurts and you can't control the temperature. There's no variable temperature control. It's bordering on scalding. Washing and rinsing my longish thick hair was actually painful. You wouldn't be able to take a baby or toddler in there, it'd be way too hot for their skin. They're also push button showers and they're on literally for 2 - 5 seconds maximum. I understood why they were so empty all the time. There are no plugs in the sinks and the water comes out like a water cannon, so washing your face is really difficult and the entire area just gets soaked, including yourself. Such a shame it's so bad as they're so modern and clean! The guy on reception was lovely when we told him about it and said he'd pass it on so I hope it gets sorted.

Well looked after and managed site, walk into town via footpaths ( for the fit😀) handy pub next door.

Showers far too hot: especially for children

Really enjoyed our week away here, staff are really friendly facilities are clean and well kept, beautiful views and plenty of walking, (land lord of the pub is actually a nice guy although a little grumpy he’s not as bad as the reviews state) :), the Mexican food on a Wednesday evening is beaut, we would definitely stay here again

Very pleasant campsite with good clean facilities and helpful staff.
I was a late arrival and was kindly sent an email explaining where I should pitch my tent and telling me wifi code etc. Great service !

Sadly , PITCH UP website states they are sited 0.2miles from Lynmouth, but actually are about 2 miles away . After walking 21miles from Minehead , I was pretty exhausted already . This error really needs to be corrected.
