The friendliness of the staff. The immaculately clean facilities. The view. The weather!!! Just everything!

The only thing I can think of was the nightmare journey down due to M4 closure but that wasn’t your fault! You made us very welcome when we arrived!

Lovely pitch with beautiful views. Really friendly , helpful campsite owner. Spotless shower block which even included a dishwasher for those lazy days! Excellent location.

Nothing!!!!

We arrived on a Sunday for my birthday week. The girl on reception was very friendly and helpful. She gave us our pitch number but did say if we wanted to swap just pop back. We did in fact pop back as our motorhome was slightly too big for the pitch we had been given. This was no problem for the girl. I asked if pitch 9 was available as this seemed longer, she said no problem at all you can move to that pitch. The site was quiet and peaceful. All the staff were very friendly.

My husband and I do not mind walking but just be aware these walks are challenging. It was a 30 minute walk to Lynton or 35-40 mi ute walk to Lynmouth (both very steep walks up and down). We also walked to watersmeet which took 1hour, again challenging in parts but definately worth it.

The facilities were always clean and tidy and reception do some lovely fresh baked pastries (please try the almond qoissant).

The site is also very dog friendly. 2 onsite dog walks. Dogs must be kept on a lead and mess picked up but this is to be expected.

Nice place, very friendly personnel. Modern and clean facilities, showers with a bit of heating. After getting stuck in the mud, guys willingly brought their truck and pulled me out. Thanks for that. As a beginner in campervanning I realized that our hired van with 2WD was too heavy for wet grass. Also thanks for the recommendation to visit Valley of the rocks.

Stunning location and the most peaceful site we stayed at despite its size as it was removed from any loud road noise. A lovely welcome from the staff and excellent washing facilities. Great location as easy to get to the pretty local town and valley of the rocks.

Nothing to dislike

Very nice location, incredibly helpful staff, and amazing facilities (worthy of Civic amenities) - and even fresh baked goods every morning!

It was quiet so we were kindly ‘upgraded’ to an electric pitch to avoid the wet lower pitches we’d booked: it was nice to have Wi-Fi and a hot shower after a few days camping ‘wild’, especially as our stay coincided with storm winds (we were snug in our camper, but our bell-tent companion had a windy night!). The site included some static ‘Chalets’ and the glamping pods looked nice, from the peek we took…

The weather was lousy

Great location, lovely clean facilities, friendly staff and loved the pastries in the morning.

Showers could be a little better in terms of how long they come on for.

Lovely Clean site with first class facilities and a friendly welcome.
Pitches were spacious with hedges and fencing in-between them so your knew where your pitch started and finished.
The views from the campsite were beautiful - looking across the rolling hills.
Lovely location and walks from the campsite to Lynmouth bay. The bay is so picturesque with the rivers and harbour.
Beautiful Fish and Chips in the Harbour Fish and Chips bar in Lynmouth.
I need to have internet access for my business when I'm away and the site had WIFI but it was very slow from our pitch - however the mobile signal for EE was brilliant and I even got to do a zoom call for my work no problem.
We were there during storm Agnes but tbh our pitch was next to a hedge and although we had to take our awning down as the wind was strong everything was fine.
I would highly recommend a visit to this site and area as it was stunning!
