The view was amazing, the pitch was really spacious, the facilities were really clean, there was a food van most of the nights which served lovely food, the surrounding area was gorgeous with so much to see. The pastries from reception were lovely and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended, we stayed in a tent in “Bay View” with electric. Pitches 1-4 were the best for the sea views.
Please note the “Woody Bay” train only goes for 1 mile to the middle of nowhere and then back again and it’s £9 per adult! Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are the most gorgeous beaches, and Heddon Valley is beautiful (a very narrow road down but totally worth it), the walk from Lynmouth to Watersmeet is stunning. Don’t hesitate to book this place! You won’t regret it.Non mi è piaciuto: Nothing really. Maybe a playground would be a bonus as we had a 3 year old but I can’t really say this is a negative as we knew there wasn’t one before we booked! The area is very hilly so just make sure you are aware of this before you book if this could be a problem.
