Everything! The view was amazing, the pitch was really spacious, the facilities were really clean, there was a food van most of the nights which served lovely food, the surrounding area was gorgeous with so much to see. The pastries from reception were lovely and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended, we stayed in a tent in “Bay View” with electric. Pitches 1-4 were the best for the sea views.
Please note the “Woody Bay” train only goes for 1 mile to the middle of nowhere and then back again and it’s £9 per adult! Woolacombe and Saunton Sands are the most gorgeous beaches, and Heddon Valley is beautiful (a very narrow road down but totally worth it), the walk from Lynmouth to Watersmeet is stunning. Don’t hesitate to book this place! You won’t regret it.

Nothing really. Maybe a playground would be a bonus as we had a 3 year old but I can’t really say this is a negative as we knew there wasn’t one before we booked! The area is very hilly so just make sure you are aware of this before you book if this could be a problem.

Very peaceful site. Clean and modern shower/toilet/washing up facilities. A dedicated motorhome service point made emptying waste etc a lot easier. The catering pod onsite is a great idea - we would've tried it had we been staying longer. Bay View field has a lovely view over to Lynmouth and the sea, sadly it was obscured by the trees on our pitch

Excellent site well maintained and we were given a warm welcome. Very clean facilities, excellent location with local walks (though very hilly!) Pizza from the pizza van was delicious!

A fair walk from our pitch to the toilet block and water tap, pitch was on a slight hill, both minor issues which are outweighed by the positives.

Beautiful and clean facilities. Free dishwasher was an absolute bonus! Fresh bread can be ordered each day, this is a must as it was delicious. Great views, lovely quiet site with lovely helpful staff.

Additional charge to put up a porch awning after paying £95 for the pitch was disappointing. Pitch had lots of weeds and holes which were dangerous. No grey waste available on fully serviced pitch. An additional charge of £4 a day to use the family changing rooms was very disappointing, not really sure why this was, just couldn’t understand the logic behind that and why showering a baby whilst away should cost more! No shops or supermarkets within 11 miles except for a small shop which closed early.

Very tidy, quiet and with beats views camp site. Totally recommend.

On leaving we purchased a coffee from reception which was really good. They also provide freshly baked croissants. Will definitely come again my son loved it.
