The site also got quite busy over the weekend with the adjoining dog training business. What should have been a quiet site after 11pm was actually still quite rowdy with noisy children and animals well past midnight which was a little disappointing.
Really nice place, lovely and quiet.

There’s not too many pitches so it doesn’t feel crowded, the cabin with the toilets and showers were great the pitches are nice and even so we didn’t need to get the levelers out for the van. Dan was very friendly when getting us settled in and that was a quick and easy process, which is always appreciated! The pitches are a great size so didn’t feel too close to our neighbours on either side. Absolutely loved the dog exercise area and the walk in the woods was lovely. Some other really nice nature reserves nearby too so plenty of walking to be done. Really reasonably priced. Plenty of water points. Everything we want for a weekend of camping, we couldn’t fault our stay at all and will definitely be back.

However, to rectify the pot wash issue, which has been causing problems, we have people installing new electrics on site today so that hot water for pot washing will be resolved.
As noted in our site information, we take noise very seriously and a quick call to us will always see us on-site sorting out any problems - we are just 2 minutes away. NB we don't have anyone living on site, but some people do like to make themselves feel at home!
We ensure that toilets and showers are cleaned every day, and trust that people will leave things as they found them ready for the next person - however, occasionally this is not the case and we can only apologise and hope that our future visitors are more respectful to each other.

HI sorry we can't do anything about our rather quaint facilities, but we do have an 11 pm noise curfew - if you had called we would have come to sort out the noise so you could at least get some peace. Thanks for bringing this to our attention we will have a think as to how we can remind people about being respectful to others.
