The accommodation

We really liked this campsite as it was a good size without being too big and there were different areas rather than one field. The field was also enclosed within a high hedge keeping the area sheltered. Whilst there we found our stay very relaxing and peaceful. There is a fenced off area with a wildlife meadow on one half and a small football pitch for children on the other side - our children enjoyed this (b10 & g9), but they absolutely loved the games shed where they went to play pool and play on the piano.
One of the special things about the site is that there is a large Guinea Pig hutch and the children were invited to go in the morning for feeding time. I walked past and found them all sitting quietly with a Guinea Pig on their laps having strokes and breakfast.
The facilities at the site are well cleaned and cared for and we didn’t have to wait for either the toilet, shower or sinks for washing up.
We found the hosts to be extremely welcoming and helpful, suggesting a dog friendly beach that we went to and being available if needed.
All in all a great stay that we wished we had booked for longer. My daughter has asked if we can come again in April 🙂

We had such a lovely time. Thanks so much to Andy and Emma for having created such a lovely site. My two girls loved feeding the guinea pigs each morning. Recommend if you have kids

Good small site ideal for a quiet restful break, mainly tents but caravans etc accepted.

The place was lovely and clean, the owners are doing a great job, was very friendly and polite Great for our 2 puppies. Facilities were ample enough for the site, we didn’t need to wait too long if was in use. May visit again in the near future but we like to explore and try new places

Little bit noisy with the generator, which was unfortunately by where we was pitched, we did understand it was out of their Control. Same with the farming very noisy early and late hours as their fields are right next to the campsites . They could have had a little time off on the bank holiday Monday (again we understood).

Everything, clean and friendly with a lovely snug area. Was great being able to play pool, use sofas and have access to a fridge.

Grounds were fab, small and lovely site. Well presented and taken care of.

well set campsite and great pitch for family stay and feel peaceful.

toilet & utilities set in front and our tents at the back, so need 2 mins walk every time.
also a road at the back pitch and very noisy at night during sleep.
