We had a fab time, the park for the children is brilliant, the added basketball net including a ball was a huge hit for my 2. The whole park is well maintained. The showers and toilet area are immaculate, and the showers are hot. I was suprised how big and well equiped the shower/toilet area were, did not feel we were on a camp site. Free hairdryer also availabe.
The reception area was lovely and so were all the staff, very helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The reception also sold some food essentials and some activitys for the kids....colouring pencils, colouring books etc. They also sold alcohol in the fridge.
The cafe/bar was a big area and dog friendly. We had pizzas on the friday and there were a 20 out of 10, absolutley delicious. On the saturday my children had some of the cakes which were tasty and hot chocolates which were also tasty.
Unfortunatly, the indoor play area is only open 9-11 to the campers on saturday and sundays as they hold private parties after that, which was a shame considering the weather!! And only open until 4pmish on the friday, we arrived at about that time on the friday so did not get the chance to experience it. Dogs are not allowed in the indoor play area.
There is also plenty to do on site as they have a little shop village, activites such as pottery painting and a sweet shop.
We went for a walk on the saturday up to frodsham hills forest which was just over a mile. The kids loved exploring in the forest and we stopped off in a pub on the way back for a refreshing drink and some snacks before we decided to head back to camp. All in all it was beautiful and i would 100% return in the nicer weather.
