The peaceful location, friendly owner, great selection of toys for the kids and great to be allowed to play ball games on site too.

Great stay but I think a prior email (or in the booking confirmation email) with instructions to drive along the road a little further to see the directions for the pitch would have been helpful. Also the toilets/showers could do with a deep clean.

Nice place with great clean facilities and a little play area for children.
There was also a little stall with drinks, ice creams and an honesty box. Lovely area with peaceful walks and tranquil views.

There’s a few hand written signs around but so hard to see unless you have binoculars and there’s some rusty looking barbecues but just looks like scrap metal left out.

Excellent level sheltered site with very good clean facilities. Good value.
Liked the 'Take your rubbish with you' policy, but please provide large bin liners.

Showers are not free - we had no cash with us so didn't feel that it was good value for money.
Felt a bit 'spied' on as there are hidden CCTV cameras around and signs telling you that you are being watched.

Lovely peaceful site, rural but close to main roads and places to visit. Good facilities, we loved the glow in the dark stones lighting the way! Owner very friendly, checking on campers and keeping everywhere spotless.

Very nice site, very quiet and tidy. Out of the way yet just up the road from Pickering. Toilets and showers where clean,dry and tidy. Showers work perfectly and worth the 50p/£1 to have one at the temperature you want. Also excellent phone internet connection with EE.The owner was very nice and checked on stayers daily. Road track to site is a bit bumpy but there's farm machinery using it so you'll want to drive it slowly anyway. Sign at entrance to tell you which is your pitch on arrival. All very pleasant and wouldn't hesitate to return. And the road to Whitby is a treat if you fancy a scenic drive.

Great site lovely & quiet with no passing traffic, the owner Lorraine was really lovely and friendly all the facilities were kept clean. We especially liked seeing her dog who was lovely natured would certainly stay here again.😁
