Great campsite. Very friendly and good facilities. Large family room for showers. Great location as very close to Big sheep and Milky Way and some lovely beaches close by.

Upon my recent visit to Hartland Caravan and Camping Park, the experience was genuinely pleasurable from start to finish. Arriving mid-afternoon, the warm greeting by the friendly Becca immediately set a welcoming tone for the stay. Not only did she swiftly guide me to my designated pitch, but she also made a point to drive over shortly after to share important rules, information about the site, and useful tidbits about the local area.

The pitch itself was of high quality, combining gravel hardstanding with grass. It catered to both the aesthetics and practicality of a camping area. The facilities were another aspect that showcased the site's commitment to comfort and cleanliness. The small toilet block, segmented into male and female sections, was maintained in impeccable condition throughout my stay. The spaciousness of the shower cubicles, complete with a wet room floor and a convenient bench, is worth noting.

The addition of an Elsan point, situated at the rear of the toilet block, provides a clear indicator of the park's thoughtfulness for its campers. The roofed section around this area ensures that visitors remain dry, a small yet essential touch that can make all the difference during rainy days. Practical amenities such as an on-site laundry room and a dishwashing area further elevate the convenience of the park. The covered dishwashing area, in particular, not only provided functional sinks with hot and cold water but also featured a valuable notice board highlighting local bus routes, times, and must-visit places.

Despite the overwhelming positives, there are minor suggestions for improvement. Implementing a one-way system for the vehicles on the premises would optimize the flow of traffic and avoid potential blockages Providing this is a Viable Solution. Additionally, a more evident sign directing visitors to the on-site reception could be beneficial.

In summary, Hartland Caravan and Camping Park emerges as one of those hidden Gems in this particular region of England (South West). I would confidently rate this park 8 out of 10 stars. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delightful camping experience!

Everything, such nice friendly people and very helpful so good we are staying another 2 nights. Fantastic. Ideal as a base camp and to tour around Devon/Cornwall. Also caught loads of fish in the pond.

Not enough facilities, example only two showers

The friendly and well run site is perfectly located for access to lovely quiet Hartland village (with numerous great pubs, stores and Coffee On The Square) as well as the surrounding area. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for Becca and the team who are all keen to ensure a great experience for everyone. Picnic tables on some pitches was a lovely touch and the small fishing lake is popular. The site is split into fields so gives you a feeling of being in a smaller site, and the facilities are excellent. All efforts were made to help when the tumble dryer let itself down during a very wet week! Some guests are clearly long term or repeat guests which is always a good sign.

Pitches are slightly closer than other sites we have used, but still not feeling too crowded in. Am not sure we would have used our awning on the pitch we were allocated however we were offered alternatives if we had wanted to - as said previously, nothing was too much trouble. Some reviews mention some noise from nearby businesses - this did not detract from our stay and is to be expected on a working premises. Tbh our neighbours flag was more noisy!

The site was very clean very peaceful and the views were great, we arrived quite late and becky the owner was more than helpful with directions for our pitch nothing was too much trouble for her, the toilet block which was separate mens and ladies was clean . we stayed during storm Antoni but we had no problems with tents staying up, lovely quiet site and the pitches were level with plenty of room the whole ambience of the place was superb and we will certainly return. The village was just a short walk and would highly recommend the Anchor Inn for a great meal and service but would suggest not going to the Hart inn as we found them very unhelpful and not able to offer us a table in the empty pub as the kitchen staff might get too busy ?

Clean toilets and shower

Electric hook up very poor, several customers taken from the one outlet, this caused ours to trip out continually, fridge Freezer defrosted and we had to switch the fridge to gas

No one there on arrival had to call. No atmosphere on site and used our own facilities as didn’t like sites facilities. Some people may like it but it was not for us we would not return here again.

Every thing the toilets and shower block were spotless nice views from our pitch .there is a nice little fishing pond and plenty room for dogs walk just like to thank the lovely lady who welcomed us and showed us to our pitch very helpful . Thank you beccie
