Owners could not be more helpful and friendly. The site is well kept and clean. Toilet and shower blocks were spotless and a lovely hot shower was bliss after a day of walking. A must is the butchers
G. E. Honey at Parkham, amazing steak and sausages. Pubs in the village are spot on. The Bush at Morwenstow, Bude is great for a meal.Speke Mill Mouth Waterfall is a stunning walk. We can't wait to go back to this site next year!

Very helpful and friendly communications with site management before and during our stay.
Views over the landscape to the sea on higher pitches.
Small site with basic facilities which were kept clean and provisioned with soap and 'Andrex'
Proximity to the village with its pubs and shops.
Despite torrential rain the site drained well allowing vehicle access at all times.

We loved this site, it was clean and tidy. Toilet block was cleaned everyday. Each field had a few pitches on which made it cosy and very relaxing. Gorgeous views of the sea in distance and rolling hills.
The site owners couldn’t do enough for you, so welcoming.
We will definitely come back.
The local village was a short walk away with pubs and shop, really quaint village of Hartland. The Hartland Quay was stunning we visited here a few times such pretty place and stunning views of the coastline, highly recommend if visiting Hartland.

Warm and friendly campsite, nice location, good size pitches, it was great that we could have a fire, have electric and bring our gazebo as well as our tent.

Could do with a ‘Reception’ sign at the building on arrival as it wasn’t obvious enough.
Lots of wasps, first campsite we’ve been to where we’ve been bothered by them.
They ran out of fire pits so we had to go out and buy our own.
Option to hire fishing rods would be great as the kids really wanted to try fishing but we didn’t have any of our own, if this was available it wasn’t clear anywhere.

Excellent camping. Great pitch, great facilities, great location. Extremely friendly and helpful owners who made an effort to talk to us. Really impressed. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

What an amazing part of Britain, dramatic coast and lovely locals.
Site has everything you need, along with the added bonus of a lovely little fishing pool.

The location is great.. in between Bude and Bideford.
Size of the pitch (ehu) was good.
The lady who ran the site was lovely, and always asked if everything was OK every time we saw her.
Was given a choice of pitch.
Toilets and showers were always clean and tidy, hairdryer provided in there as well.
Access to a washer and a dryer.
Place to wash up pots outside toilet block.
We managed to pick the week with all the strong winds and rain..🤦‍♀️(Aug 24), one of our steel poles bent, the lady took it away and fixed it for us...
Nice clean/tidy/friendly site.

The disabled toilet/shower room could of done with a handrail next to the toilet.

Firstly Becca was really friendly and accommodating and phoned to check on arrival time. She explained where I could camp and where the best views were and what was available.
All directions were easy to follow and there was lots of room for my tent and vehicle.
Showers and bathroom were amazingly clean and the showers in particular were excellent.
Location is not far from clovelly and I took day trips to Cornwall so all easy access. Hartland point and Quay are not far away from bude.
All in all a great place to stay and will definitely be back.
