Loved the cabin, it was a perfect little getaway location for us as a weekend base for a running event in Malton. It's a cosy, comfortable little cabin, with really good facilities, in a nice quiet location. Had a local walk one day, a wander over to Bridlington and Flamborough Head, and running and food in Malton the next. Also loved the inquisitive sheep in the field and the pheasants in the lane, didn't see the owl unfortunately - heard, but never saw. Would happily recommend and would definitely happily book again.

Everything! Cute, cosy, clean spacious. Everything you need for a perfect short stay! Watching the owls was very special.

Fran was lovely, the pod was fantastic, so clean and comfortable. A real spot to relax, unwind, and spot plenty of wildlife including our neighbour the barn owl who loved to wiggle dance for us!

Lovely 'posh' pod.
The beds were very comfortable with lovely clean bedding.
The pod was very well equipped from pots and pan to washing up bowl, dishcloth and teatowel.
The en-suite shower room was a bonus. No having to nip out of the pod, during the night, to the loo.
The surrounding area was very quiet, with lovely walks thanks to the guidance of Fran.

This place is perfect - so lovely and peaceful. The cabin has everything you need which is so great - just need food and clothes. It is really well thought out and having the bathroom contained with, with a good shower, a decent size and proper facilities is brilliant. Beds are comfy. Having the grass outside is great and even though I didn't use the tv much it was great to have one with such a good reception. I can't fault it. It was perfect for travel to and around York area as well as the coast. Having cars parked right outside made packing and unpacking very easy but it was hidden behind a hedge so felt private. The only thing I'd change is having a gate on the area so I could have let my dog off his lead, but I bought a long lead and tied him to the fence so that was a good thing and it wouldn't stop me coming again. Perfect having microwave etc to cook. I did bring my own chair for outside for comfort but that was just a 'nice to have' as there is outdoor tables etc. WIFI wasn't strong but I didn't need it and had good signal there anyway.

Last minute booking for us and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed, lovely and secluded and so quiet. The cabins are compact but have everything you would need for a couple of nights. We had the site to ourselves and our dog, there was just enough room in the cabin for the three of us (we have a large labradoodle). The bathroom is spacious and the decking and outside area is perfect for outdoor dining.

The location is a bit remote but there is plenty to do within 1hr drive. Perfect for walkers.

Return visit for us. Lovely pods with everything you need. Ideally positioned for a trip to York or the coast.
