Beautiful site, lovely wardens, great area

Signage could be improved on site, the adverts and websites don’t really do it justice. There is a lovely cafe on site and gift shop that are not mentioned

This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. The whole place is very well cared for. We found our stay to be peaceful and very chilled. We will definitely keep coming back.

Beautiful site, well laid out and very well maintained. Near the river and canal. Loved the cafe for both lunch and breakfast, very polite and helpful staff.

The bottom pitches are sloping and have a camber. So many speed bumps not good with a motorhome even at 5mph

Brilliant campsite suitable for all types of families. Lovely friendly staff and very well kept pitches and site all round. Spacious pitches, very clean toilet blocks and probably the best campsite showers I’ve ever experienced, not a cobweb in sight and large clean cubicles. Thank you to the lovely couple that welcomed us late evening and directed us to our pitch, they are lovely hosts and will definitely be back with family and friends! Very friendly to our young son and loved to have a chat.

Not much to dislike really, the only thing I would say is that it is on the flight path but of course that can’t be helped. Didn’t impact the stay though and our son loved seeing the different aeroplanes

Location, cleanliness, atmosphere

We have done a number of campsites around Britain and I must say this is in my top 5. It's the simple things at make it great First the ground we had no problem pegging out our tent and even the flag pole went up, most site we have been to are 50% stone. The bathrooms are HUGE !!! and warm. As for the staff if you like a laugh and have a sense of humour this is the place.

It's not a deal breaker but no wood burning, coal is fine but we like a nice fire with marshmallow after a good BBQ
