Pleasant site, area we were in was set amongst alot of birch trees, although pitches not particularly level. Facilities spacious and warm. Friendly staff. River and lakes nearby.

With the wind in the wrong direction you got the smell of the sewage system.

Spacious pitches, quiet site, helpful friendly staff, shops on site, clean facilities, walks from park and the biggest secure dog field that our dogs loved.

Shower pressure wasn't amazing but it did the job

Nice friendly site with plenty of room on our pitch. Shower/ toilet block clean and plenty of hot water. We would be happy to stay here again.

Not really wanting to criticise what is a lovely site but if you stay here in a motorhome as we did you do need to be prepared to use it everyday to visit anywhere as public transport from the site is limited if not none existent and although we took our bikes we didnt really feel the traffic was very cyclist friendly.

Excellent generous pitch sizes. Particularly grateful that we stayed on hardstanding pitch. Sanitation facilities were spacious and clean. Likewise communication/check in was straightforward. We love the convenience of this site and will be back!

Poor WiFi connection but a minor issue

Great site, reception person (lady with lovely curly hair!) so helpful and friendly, went beyond with her help and guidance, great toilets and shower facilities. 2nd visit and will definitely come again.

Pitches are too small. And certainly not level .trains constant, planes constant. Very muddy ( I know it's been very wet lately but because the pitches are so small, it's impossible not to churn grass and mud).

Loved the openness of the place,lots of wildlife and we made the best of the walks despite the awful weather,toilets and showers were clean.

Not so much as a dislike but the advert needs to be updated as there were no wifi and no shop on site which the add said they were.Also we booked the site to do some fishing on the river and maybe the pools,we'll the river was unfishable due to floods and with the pools certain baits couldn't be used(the only bait we had).So maybe the fishing rules should be added aswell.oh also the pub was mentioned as close by which had been empty for quite some time.
