A very nice, small, site with about 20 pitches. Last minute booking but a very easy process with their online system. You get confirmation of your pitch number by text and email, with the latter giving you a map that shows exactly where the pitch is.
The site is well sign posted and easy to read, whilst at the same time blend in with the natural surroundings so no garish signs.
The facilities are excellent, very clean and modern with free to use showers. There is also a kitchen with microwave and hob, plus a free to use washing machine next door to a large rest room with comfy chairs and a TV.
We didn't have time but we gather there is a nice pub and a cafe in the village which is a short walk away.
We stayed one night and did into Buxton the following day and spent several hours there.
A bit of a hidden gem this place, would recommend.

Very clean. Liked the large kitchen and seating area. Great place for families to spend time together in a communal area.

Didn’t like walking round to toilets in dark when there was another entrance that could be used to get access to them, which was a lot closer to our pitch and was well lit.

The site was very clean .
The communal lounge and kitchen was outstanding .Acess to this facility is a fantastic addition.

Easy to find, very impressed by the facilities. Toilets and showers were clean, warm and not far from the pitches.
Even had a little kitchen to be able to use which I have never seen before! Definitely return

Personally I thought the signage for the site off of Dike road could have been made more visible.

Fantastic campsite with well maintained facilities. Arrival and departure were easy and the campsite was very accessible. Additional WiFi was a bonus since signal isn’t so strong in the area.
The super standard, hard standing pitches are level and have plenty of room for you to park to suit you and use awnings. The location was perfect for what we had planned, each day we were only around half an hour from where we were going including kinder scout and Reynard’s Cave.

WiFi didn’t always work, especially with inclement weather but that wasn’t really an issue.
