Facilities were good and very clean. Check in was very easy and site was easily accessible.

Not quite peaceful as it’s next to a busy A road. Could do with lights over the site signs, so you can see pitches if arriving in the dark.

The walk to the pub a mile and a bit down the road was nice and the food was lovely.
The dog walk enclosed field was lovely.
The site itself, was boring not the best we have ever been to, I think it catered more for the let out cottages.

The storms blew down a lot of branches onto the pitches.
It took 3 days before someone from the site appeared with a leaf blower to round up all the debris on the tarmac in front of the pitches.
But the debris on the pitches was left as was.
People arriving onto these pitches had to clear away any branches before putting their motorhome o caravan on the pitch.

Absolutely loved our stay between Christmas and New year!

The hard standing pitch, with water, waste, tv, WiFi was everything we needed. The facilities was very clean, warm & absolutely well thought out!

We loved the communication side of things via email ect.

We enjoyed it so much, we booked again😀

Liked the site ,great amenities, Hard standing pitch good ,nice walks to do near by and a few pubs to choose from with great food ,This is the second time we have been .

The toilet and showers are the cleanest I've seen in this country also a lovely kitchen area . I wish all sites were at this standard

The two local pubs were shut as on holiday, just one of those things

Immaculate and well laid out site in a beautiful location. Facilities were second to none, definitely the cleanest showers/toilets on any site we’ve stayed on, it’s obvious the owners take pride in this site. Location is just right for short drives into Buxton and Bakewell

Only slight niggle was that pitch up showed this site as having a pool table in the games room and there wasn’t one so out boys were a bit disappointed however this in no way detracts from the fact that we had an excellent stay and would recommend to all.

Clean spacious pitches. Excellent facilities hot showers and fabulous kitchen facilities.
10 mins from Buxton 20 mins from Bakewell. Owners really helpful.

Everything!!! Stayed on electric pitch 18 as pitch 16 was sodden from all the heavy rain. Beautiful views over the valley, very peaceful. As soon as you drive onto the site you feel relaxed. The toilet/shower block was immaculate. Also have a disabled self contained unit. The kitchen has microwave, pot washing facilities, fridge and kettle. Everything you need. The lounge area has games, TV and literature with a big cosy settee. We’ve stayed twice already and will be back for more visits in the near future
