Shower and toilet block modern and clean
Quiet site with good facilities
Despite being August, we were the only campers in large non electric field for our short stay.

Brilliant site. Good size pitch. Excellent shower facilities. Loved the live music on a Friday. Should have entertainment on more days through peak season.

Amazing site so clean and tidy love coming hear been coming every year for 5 years and not board of it and the kids love coming and seeing there seasonal pitch friends. Every time we come they have improved somthing and it's always for the better. Thank you Castle Brake for letting us make amazing family memories on your site.

beautiful setting. Very quiet. Lovely facilities. Dishwashing facilities were great with on demand hot water and will be even better when the cover is completed. Daughter enjoyed the play park as always.

Not much to dislike. Drains in the bathrooms were a little smelly, but that is probably a symptom of not having mains drainage. I noticed the cleaning rotas in the family and accessible bathrooms weren’t maintained but I’m sure they were being cleaned at least once a day. Grass in the tent area was a bit long which made morning trips to the washing facilities a bit damp on the toes.

Arrived on site to be greated by a beautiful lady that couldn't be more kind and accommodating. The facilities were perfect and very clean. All staff were lovely people. Well done management on selecting a great team. ✌️💚

If you are sensitive to smells (Like me.) There was an awful smell coming from the sewerage/pipes. It was very hard to take and affected our stay somewhat. As it was very difficult to sit outside and eat. But our tent was very close to the back of the toilets/showers. Fabulous campsite! WiFi kept dropping! But rural its to be expected. Highly recommend if tackling the smell successfully is a success. ✌️💚

Just needs cheering up a bit

The Site was Clean & tidy, But

Our pitch was very unlevel, we had to put chucks under our Motorhome wheels & we were still pointing downhill.
The pub is very small & only open in the evenings, the food there is Very Over Priced, I had a 8oz stak @ £19.95 it was cooked ok but it did not have a lot of Flavour, but the staff were friendly. We would suggest you eat & drink off site. There is not very much for children to do on this site. No pool, just climing frames, or a games room which you have to pay extra to use.

The best showers I have been in on caravan sites. The staff are great and helpful.

Weather

A friendly quiet site good shower block and nice bar and restaurant though not open every day.
Best of all was our pod plus, really well maintained and spacious, and the luxury of own loo and wash basin ahhhhh bliss. Microwave, couple of hobs, good size fridge with ice box, electric kettle and sink. Comfy double and bunks were great fot suitcases as only the 2 of us. Just remember to take everything else you would when camping bedding, pots utensils etc.

Glad we took camp lamp as if one wanted to sleep while the other awake lights were a bit all or nothing but overall a minor detail
