I booked a merry sur Yonne- I don’t camp very often but this had nice reviews and thought I would trust in those.
It’s been absolutely lovely so far and the reviews do it justice.
It’s mellow and nicely sized and cosy. Our pitch looks great and I do think we are here at a slightly quieter pre season Tim as it’s the 4th of July as I write this

Electric supply is 3 pin (like UK) but can be some distance away from the pitch (long leads needed). Wi-Fi was very good. Nice friendly owners, very welcoming. Good clean shower and toilet block with individual shower rooms. There is a small shop on site together with a bar. I think there is also a restaurant but I don't think it was open during our stay (March). Fresh baked bread can be ordered for the next morning and is excellent. Some great walks nearby. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed you staying with us, you were great, we'd love to see you again.
I am sorry the restaurant was not to our usual level of service. During the winter period we advise guests to reserve the restaurant so we know in advance how many staff to put on service. Unfortunately, on the Friday night when you ate with us, we had a lot more guests coming in with no reservation, which as you can imagine does put a little stress on us.
Our restaurant is very popular, not just with camping guests, but also many villages around us, so reservation is always appreciated.
