A lovely chilled, eco-oriented site. Each pitch is set back with its own camp fire so feels quite private, and with lots of space.
The compost loos and showers under the trees make you feel surrounded by nature. A solar-powered plug in point to charge my phone was the real cherry on top.
Super friendly and helpful owners who came down to the site within 5 minutes for any enquiries.

The pitch up location is slightly wrong which made it hard to find - the site is on the opposite side of the road round the corner.

Excellent set up, great recycling facilities, welcoming hosts and all the necessary amenities

Fantastic views across Crickhowell to the hills beyond. Easy walk into the town. Plenty of space on the pitch (we were in the paddock above the car park). Can't comment on the loos and showers as we were self-contained in our small motorhome!

Not convinced of the long-term impact of discharging grey water (incl fats in washing up water) into the surrounding hedges or into the ground generally

Could have done with some sawdust to put on loos to keep odour down but loved the living loo. Didn't venture in to wim hoff

The loo, there’s basic and there’s horrible, Sawdust needed to scatter after use.

All van spaces were clearly marked, there’s plenty of space for everyone with the lovely added touch of ready made fire pits (fire wood was available to purchase). Plenty of super friendly people around to ask for help if needed. Location is perfect for a stroll along the canal or a brief walk into Crickhowell. Saving the best till last, the view of the surrounding area from the campsite is unbeatable!

Pitches were well spaced out, in an absolutely stunning setting. Lovely walks all around.
The eco vibe fits well with the way we live our lives.
The toilets made us smile; innovative and kept very clean.
The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome.
There was a nice mixture of ages on the site ( even though we appeared to be the oldest!! )
Lovely to be able to have a fire, and the logs and kindling delivered straight to us.
We were talking about returning even before we left!

Slight dislike was our pitch was a little smaller and more public than some. BUT ours was perfectly adequate and we had a lovely 3 night stay.

Loved the location (nearby pub etc) and the views. Well thought out basic amenities with drinking water and toilets. Liked that each pitch had ferns growing tall around them to create some privacy. Easy to find and nice people.

Only a cold shower, but not necessarily a bad thing
