Friendly welcome was great and I found the site as close to wild camping as you can get in this type of setting. I thought it was really well laid out, creating secluded zones for each tent. I'll definitely be back.

Almost everything!

1. Location. It is in a quiet location with beautiful views of the mountains and hills. From the site you can walk to…
- the canal(5 mins) which then takes you to the Llangatwg Lime Kilns (15 mins on canal path) and also the Tramway coffee shop (a further 5 mins on same path) for a lovely morning stroll.
- Llangattock (5 mins) which has a nice open play park and a pub.
- Crickhowell (15 mins) which is a lovely place full of pubs and shops! We also walked along the River Usk here and walked an 8km circular path up to Table Mountain.

2. Loads of things to do on foot! See notes above for things to do.

3. The themed toilets. Yes they are composting toilets and can get a bit smelly but they’re well maintained and I love that each has a ‘theme’! The showers were good too - and not as cold as expected!

4. Lovely owners! They were so helpful and friendly.

5. The pitches have their own fire pits and are surrounded by ferns so you have privacy. Good distance away from the next pitch too.

6. You can charge your phones for free and they have tap water too.

Love this campsite, loved the themed compost toilets, loved the pitches carved out amongst the fern, and a refreshing shower (not as cold as we expected) set us up for walking up Table Mountain in the morning. The views from the site are breathtaking

Welcoming well kept space with loads of room. Very friendly and helpful owners who answer any question you have. Great option to charge my stuff as I was cycling through.The views are also spectacular and ideal for walkers too.

Lots to do locally and nice location

For a camper van sent to a paddocks where you're not allowed a little wooded section feel like second class citizen also from about 2pm its totallyin the shade comparedto the rest of the site options. I was in the wrong section as no one to greet when we got there. Took 6 hrs to inform me just as I was halfway through my family dinner asking us to move !

This is the 2nd time we have been to Camp Crick and we just love it! So beautiful, peaceful and with many walks to enjoy and village with pubs and a few shops a walkable distance, we barely needed to use the car.
