I very much liked Bucklegrove and look forward to going to visit again. My pitch was lovely with really nice views and very close to the shower/toilet block, which was very clean and nice. The site has a lovely swimming pool, which I very much enjoyed.

The staff were very kind to me on my first solo camping expedition since being widowed. I will definitely be back. Thank you Bucklegrove.

The site is well organised and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The ladies toilet/showers are clean and well maintained. The shop is stocked with essentials and the bar provides good food and drink in a nice atmosphere. We both had the fish and chips, a good plate of food at a great price.

Only two issues during our overnight stay. There was a large family to the rear of our pitch who were very noisy, the noise did go on past 10pm but they did quieten down eventually. The mens toilets were filthy bar one but this was in the morning just before we left the site so the cleaners may not have had a chance to sort them.

Showers were lovely and hot with a good size head and flow.
Staff were very helpful. Over and above. Very easy to book, check in and hook up. Bus stops right outside the park and the lovely staff have timetable print outs to hand and advice . Lovely friendly, clean, well maintained, relaxed sight x

The pitch sizes were very roomy, level and well laid out! The toilet and shower blocks were clean and remained at a high standard throughout my stay. Also the staff I encountered in reception and the bar were very friendly, helpful and professional at all times.

Nothing to dislike.

Some good facilities like the swimming pool, the showers were always hot and plenty of them. Toilets and sinks are spotless too, staff were very friendly an helpful. Food in the lodge was great

I find this site very cramped. There were lots of static caravans around the perimeter and the touring pitches are in the middle, but they're all quite close together. Some pitches were so close together, I think Id have had to ask for a move if we'd been put there. Lucky for us we were at the top corner tucked away. our friends stayed in a pitch in the Grove and these pitches were so cramped and higgledy piggledy. It all looked way too haphazard, plus the mud had tried into deep ruts at their pitch and was quite difficult to set up the awning. There are only 2 toilets in this block too. On the whole Bucklegrove looks like the sort of site which was great about 10 years ago, but now everything seems a bit worn and tatty. The tarmac drive around the site is full of massive potholes and the fully serviced touring pitches were scruffy, and hardcore had merged into the grass, lots of weeds and overgrown trees and bushes. Overall the site lacked maintenance and needs a bit of smartening up. Also while the site has a good location for visiting local towns and villages and tourist spots like Cheddar and Wells, you can t walk anywhere as there's no pavement and quite a fast road. Theres a pub about a mile away but you wouldn't want to be walking back from there in the dark.

Brilliant site with great facilities which were new and spotless. Lovely swimming pool and play area.

Could have done with spacing tents out a bit more when so quiet as couple next to us were quite noisy late at night but lots of spaces around us so they could have been a bit further away
Pitch was quite sloped

good size pitches,good clean showers and toilets,also laundry room,swiming pool and club house if required,

our pitches backed on to tent pitches with some very loud people staying in them, having to go through a hedge to plug ehu in, lack of water taps
