We went because the site had a swimming pool, which was fine. The alloted pitch size was pretty generous. My boys enjoyed the play park. Good location for Cheddar.

People look for different things in a campsite. This one wasn't for us.

It's a very noisy site. Loud music from the clubhouse until 10pm, which is fine. But after that the site seemed to be full of inconsiderate people talking loudly and letting their kids shout.

The pitches are very close together, even though they're quite large. As a result there's not really any space for the kids to play.

Our pitch wasn't even close to being level, which was irritating.

Toilet blocks were both quite far away, with young kids. Just another small annoyance.

Not really anywhere to walk the dog. The woodland walk is only about 80m long, not really as described.

Easily accessible, things to do near by. Good recommendations and information provided, good pitch size. Options on site. Dog friendly & dog walk on site. Can park by pitch.

2 dogs off lead that ran up to mine. Mine was on a stake lead in the ground and this caused a bit of tension. Although it says dogs must be on lead’s at all times this wasn’t the case. Was a shame.
Children on the site caused a few issues (parents fault), they seemed to be year round not campers.

Great location. Close to lots of beautiful places and amazing views from the site. Family friendly with good amenities with beautiful scenery.

Very nice clean site. Had my 5 yr grandson with is who loved pool and playpark.
Pitch decent size with dedicated parking spot.

Showers/toilets although clean very tired looking. Shower pressure poor

The staff at Bucklegrove are very personable and approachable. The indoor swimming pool is great as well. Facilities were kept clean. Great location for walks and touristy stuff. Even the beach is not too far away! Overall, great value for money, we will definitely consider coming again

We love the location of the site and the atmosphere. Busy but pleasant. We enjoyed a meal at the Lodge with entertainment provided by a singer, Louise who was very good. It was our third visit to Bucklegrove and hopefully not our last!

Not many places to walk the dogs - last time we came, the neighbouring field was used for dog walking but is now no dogs allowed.

The site was very clean and tidy everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our cabin was cosy, clean and had nearly everything you would need.
We will definitely be back again. We brought our grandson with us and he thoroughly enjoyed himself.

The only thing that was missing in the cabin was spoons to eat cereals, we managed to eat our Rice Krispies with a teaspoon but took a little while.

Shower block, lovely view, friendly staff, nice facilities, good location, very good on site shop

Not so much a dislike, but a dog walk area would be 10/10.
