Very nice location with amazing views not only of the hills and countryside, but the alpacas too.
Was great to be able to have a fire on the evening whilst roasting marshmallows listening to the owls with the alpacas sat at your feet (behind the fence).
Toilet is a single toilet but very spacious with hand-washing facilities just outside.
The land was well looked after by the real friendly owners who were also lovely, making conversation often along with pugsly the pug running a mock around your feet he would race down the feels to greet you every morning and evening.
The owner was great she let my wife walk prince her favourite alpaca for a decent time.
Walks around the forest was great too spotting deer and such along the way.
The on site honesty shop was nice touch too providing wood marshmallows drinking water and more.
It’s a must place to visit if you love alpacas as there are loads 🙂 or just a nice back to basics adventure. Thank you from Karl and fabs

This was my first trip as a female solo camper. Really easy to find with a pin provided by the owners. Clear signs at the entrance to the site. The site is immaculate and safe. Owners were welcoming as were the Alpacas! I enjoyed a perfect day and evening. The alpacas lay close by in their field. A baby was born not too far away from me which was beautiful and added to the experience of my stay.

There’s a honesty shop which I enjoyed browsing through and I purchased a couple of gifts as well as logs.

This site is highly recommended. I will be back before the end of season and again next year.

What an amazing place!
We stayed here for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed by the owner and reassured as it was out first time camping. The pitch was a very good size and the alpacas were in every direction you looked.
The toilet was very clean and the little honesty shop was a great place to get any essentials you need.
We had an amazing sunset to watch and the firepits were available to hire.
We loved it and will miss waking up to the alpacas.
Can't wait to return!!

Quiet field in the country side with Alpacas.

Hand washing facilities very basic. Signage at the entrance gate confusing and not sure if we arrived at the correct location. Not much to do nearby. Plus 10am checkout on bank holiday Monday seems unnecessarily early.

Absolutely brilliant place, great and attentive hosts, very clean and well kept, beautiful scenic views and the Alpacas literally walking past and saying hello behind the van , Absolutely worth a visit 😀

Nice quiet site, with adorable alpacas and lovely scenery, what more do you really need.
The toilet was always clean, even when the site got busy.
The owners were very welcoming, recommended a good shaded area to pitch as I camp with my dog, and also recommended a place to walk him, which is lovely as most site owners don't give a damn.
We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

What a lovely little site.

My son and I visited for a little lads trip away to escape the mayhem and get back to basics.

This site is exactly as it’s described on the website and we loved it here.

Loved the honesty shop too which we used to have a fire on the evening with marshmallows and we watched a movie that we downloaded to a tablet… all under the stars and with the alpacas keeping warm nearby too.
The alpacas are very friendly and always near by being nosey which was amazing.

The hosts are very friendly and I stood having a really good chat and laugh with them for a good 30 minutes.

Another plus for us on our visit was the hosts very friendly little PUG dog that came to say hello in the morning and have a fuss with us.

We will definitely be visiting again and for a longer stay 😊
